I work a a four day / ten hour schedule. But I am often there late on overtime.
I work a full 40 hours a week...sometimes more, as I tend to stay through my lunch hour.
But I would gladly trade it in for some extra time towards wedding planning. =)
I work 9 hours a day, three days a week. I am also a full-time student.
70-80 hours a week normally, more during crunch time. But it's a lot better than the 90-100 hour weeks I used to work! A whole extra day totally makes a difference in my sanity.
I have a full-time job (8-hours a day) and a freelance graphic/web desgn business that's picking up, so I put in 4 or so hours per night on that (on the nights I don't have 3 hours of class, that is...) and then full days on the design on the weekend. I sneak in wedding planning when I can!
I said 8 in the survey, but it's usually 9! I like to get in a little early and never seem to make it out quite at quitting time.
I'm supposed to work from 8am-4pm but, since I'm an educator, I usually end up coming in early and staying late.
I work full time doing research, and then additional hours moonlighting in the ER. I can put in anywhere from 60-80 hours a week. Luckily, most of that time is near the computer ;) It's still better than residency, no matter how you slice it!
Its work then off to school for me! So I'm getting paid for working part time, but it feels like I'm working full time! "Oh, the day when I graduate..."
My work does something called 9/80...so we work 9 hour days and then we have every other friday off! It works out wonderful! We still get 80 hours of work in two weeks span and we have every other friday off! I end up working 10 hour days but still, I like the schedule cause then I can making wedding planning appointments and stuff on my Friday's off!
It varies for me. There are some weeks when I'm in at 9 and out at 5 every day. The there are other weeks where I'm in at 8:30 and out at 7 and work on the weekends and one or two nights I'll be there until 10. But an interesting corrolary would be this:
How much time do you spend per day or week planning your wedding?
It's busy season for accountants, so 14 hours a day, 6-7 days a week is norm. I had to use my lunch time (at my desk) very wisely.
I work on average about 14 hours a day or more. I work for a non profit during the day and then also teach dance part time 3 days a week and am also an advisor for a local campus dance group. So my plate is full and I run two dance teams. So I work 14hours a day and then some.
Some nights I don't sleep
my schedule varies - i work here at weddingbee and project wedding half of the week and i'm an account exec at a design agency the rest of the week. on average i work 9-5.
I work 8 - 4, but there are some weeks where I work 14 hour days. Just depends on the situation at the time.
I only work a few hours per day. But, this has to do wiht my job as a dancer. We work nights, and occasional afternoons.

In all of my excitement planning for my wedding, I began to wonder how much time people have to plan their wedding, and it led me to ask:
How long is your average workday?
