We will have our dj for 4 hours after the ceremony but Im worried that isn't enough! They have to be set up before the guest arrive. Im thinking that everyone will get to the reception around 5:45 or 6:00 which I guess is when the dj starts. There will be a cocktail hour when they arrive while we get our picutes taken. Then when we arrive we will have dinner. How long does dinner usually take? Im saying half hour to an hour. So there is 2 hours of background music. 1 for cocktail and 1 for dinner. That only leaves 2 hours for dancing and partying! FI and I want to party on into the night till about 10 or 11 with our guest so I don't think 4 hours is enough. So how long are you all having your djs and how long will there be actual dance music?

We have 5 hours total, but that's also including the ceremony (half an hour).

We have our DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner & reception. So pretty much from 2:30 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. She's awesome!

The whole time. Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and till the end of the night.

And he'll be there roughly 2 hours early to set up. So like 6hrs including set up but not break down?

We have 5 hours (5:00-10:00) with the option of adding an hour if the party is still going strong (which we probably will)

Our Dj stays from the beginning (6.30 pm) to the end (about 4.30 am), so that's about 10 hours. (+ time for preparations and packing stuff)
