I have three top places I want to go for my engagement pictures, but the problem is, I want to go to all THREE of them to take our pictures.  I want to take some pictures in the city, at the beach, and at an Arboretum, where there are many beautiful plants/flowers.  Will it be asking too much for our photographers to go to all 3 places or should I just choose 1-2 places?

How many locations have you/will you be going to for your e-pics?

Talk to you photographer!  We did two locations, which were about a 20 minute walk apart -- and got some great shots during the walk.  Are you open to the idea of a post-wedding shoot at one of the locations (the arborteum, maybe?) or bridals BEFORE the wedding?  Also, with each location, consider an outfit change!  Maybe casual (jeans, etc.) and then a bit dressier (cute skirt/dress)?

I think it would come down to a time/travel thing. If your session is only 1-1.5 hours and you need to travel significantly between the locations, then I would keep it to two...depending on where you are, parking could also get reallyyy annoying!

For my epics we did two major locations -- one in a downtown, artsy area and we walked around the storefronts and alleys and got a really nice variety of backdrops. Then we had an outfit change and took a 5ish minute car ride to the beach...parking was more difficult here but we managed to find some in a reasonable time and had a nice, relaxed sunset session! I would have loved a 3rd nature-y location but I think we got great pics with the two. Plus we're getting married in a garden so we'll get those naturey pics eventually ;).

Most photographers will work with you but you may have to pay more if it is going to involve the shoot running over the allotted shooting time.
