i want a very thin band (i believe somehwere between 1-2mm but i believe my soon to be fiance is getting me a heavy weight tiffany style band. what is the mm on that? im hoping its not larger than 2mm. its a small .5 carats so the smaller the band the better my diamond will look. any answers?

I agree with you…a 2mm wedding band is great for an under 2mm shank on the e-ring. I find it does make the stone look larger. Although the advantage of a wider band is that it might be nicer when worn alone. And if it fits underneath your e-ring’s center stone, it won’t seem as wide.

@EmilysID321: a genuine Tiffany ring is probably 3 mm I would guess. I know it’s larger than 2, because I hate anything thicker than 2 mm and I’ve tried on the Tiffany solitaire multiple times.

a 0,5ct Tiffany solitaire has a band that is about 2mm. The bigger the stone the wider the band.
