I've been living in Western Canada for the last year. Prince Geroge BC too, tobe exact! However, I am orginally from Newfoundland and I am moving back there next week!
I llived in PG while i went to UNBC I moved to Vancouver 2.5 years ago! Small world!

Baileyh I am seriously going to be down there then so we'll have to keep in touch. I don't know what it is, but I keep seeing all these American brides having big meet ups and I'm jealous! I think it would be great fun!

Yay I'm happy to see all you ladies here! I was starting to think there weren't too many of us. I will keep you all in mind when doing some specific searches for various items in this region.
Quick question though...How many of you have bought anything from "Weddingstar" I have the catalogue/magazine and have looked online and it looks like there is some great stuff. Just wondering what your experiences with this comany have been (ie: shipping, extra fees, etc.)

@ mrs.peters.to.be- I have ordered from weddingstar. I ordered those white candy dishes that are in the shapes of L O V E
The shipping was super fast...and it was about $20. Hope that helps!
Ohhh I like those a lot! How was the quality? I'm debating getting those white ceramic dove salt/pepper shakers for favours. Thanks :)
@mrs.peters.to.be: I bought my garter and our cake serving set from Weddingstar. But a store here, will order it so that you don't have to pay shipping so that's what I did.
I never ordered from weddingstar myself, but there were a bunch of us planning our weddings at the same time at my office, and I know one of them ordered lawn chair candle holders from them. They came super quickly, and I think one of them arrived broken, and they replaced it no questions asked.
