I just found an AMAZING deal on tote bags to use as our OOT bags, but I’m trying to figure out how many we need to buy. Should we give a bag to each guest individually? …or is it ok to just give one to each couple / family? Please advise. 🙂

I think it’s ok to give one to each couple/family and add in a few extra just in case! Awesome that you found a great deal… when you’re done buying, would you consider posting the site (if they’re online)? Edit: you totally don’t have to. I just wondered if you would! I need three for a project for christmas 🙂

I did mine individually but, I used disposable gift bags. If you are going to use one for family, I would put more items in than the ones for individuals.

We were planning on doing one per hotel room or one per couple. We may add in a few extras for families that have kids. I would also love to see the bags that you are looking at too if you are up for sharing!

Thanks for the feedback! I think we’ll probably do one per couple / family. For groups of single friends who are sharing a hotel room we will still give one per person though, so that each person can have a bag.
@FallFlowers — For the consumables in the bag (food, drinks, etc) we’ll definitely include enough for the number of people who will be sharing the bag. Thanks for the tip!
@cinemaparadiso — No problem at all. Of course I’ll share. The totebags are from discountmugs.com http://www.discountmugs.com/nc/tote-bags/1082/premium-tote-bag.htm. We’re going to order the blank tote bags. I really wanted to have LL Bean style tote bags as our OOT bags for our Maine wedding. Unfortunately, the price per bag only becomes really cheap with a large order. For 70+ bags you can get them for $1.79 per bag, which is by far the best price that I’ve seen.

I also did OOT bags per hotel room.
