I am stressing about our engagement pics which are 5 days away. We are taking them in a park, the pier and on the beach. I’m thinking about three outfits. I originally had two but browsing my photographers e pics everyone wore 3! This makes me think I def have enough time for 3. Excuse my lack of hair-makeup. The maxi for the beach, tan for the pier and floral for the park. Will I sacrifice pictures because I lose time to changing?

@Tbblount: I absolutely LOVE the third outfit! SO adorable!
I didn’t have those kinds of e-pics taken; I just wore a black sweater for our engagement portrait (i.e. headshot of us taken in the photographer’s studio.)

I only wore one outfit for my engagement shots. We went semi-dressy. I wore a nice dress with a cardigan and Fiance wore khakis and a nice sweater. We did our photos outside on the national mall in DC so I don’t even know where we would’ve been able to change!
I’ve seen a lot of engagment shoots where the couple wears 2 different outfits but I don’t think I’ve seen 3. If you want an outfit change, pick one casual outfit and one that’s more dressy. I think that would be fine. 3 seems like overkill and yes, you’ll lose time each time you change.
Oh, and I love the 3rd outfit too!

THe third outfit is super cute!
I think we are going to plan on at least two, but we shall see. I don’t want to eat up all our available time changing clothes…

i only had one because we were only at one location, if you can change fast i like the idea of the 3 outfits.

I wore one but part of it was a jacket and I took that off for some of the pictures.

I would leave out the floral dress and just use the other two. Something about all the print takes away from your face

I only wore 2. Majority of the pics were taken in one outfit and then I changed my shirt to my Eagles jersey and Fiance did the same. We wanted to have some pictures of our jereseys in there, but it wasn’t a large amount.

Only thing about the khaki dress is that it’s very fitting and sits low. I just know id tug at ito the whole time because I’m paranoid of arm fat. I am so stressed about looking fat in my pictures it’s like my worst fear lol

I would ask your photographer. I wore two but my photog seemed a little surprised that I wanted to change. I agree with the PP that the floral dress is kind of busy.

Is that 2nd dress Lilly Pulitzer? It’s so cute!

My Fiance and I wore two outfits. The first was more casual (I wore jeans and a nice tank top) and the second was semi-formal (on par with your dress in the 3rd picture). I’m really glad we did two outfits because it let us get more relaxed photos in the first outfit, while still getting some shots of us looking more fancy.

Two. A nice dress, and jeans with a football jersey

i changed in the car in a parking lot. i wore capri jeans and a top at a park, then into the city to a museum and wore a dress. we had as much time as we needed with the photog. he was actually surprised i changed as fast as i did.

I only wore 1 outfit but we did ours at an old time photography studio. We wore vintage wedding clothes, it was a lot of fun!
