Guilty! I liked the Winter and Fall episodes. I definitely want more episodes.

I’m so mad. Amy Sherman Pallidino said she always knew what the last  4 words of the show would be .

But, the last 4 words are very different coming from a 32 year old woman who’s been out of Yale for 10 years than a 22 year old who’s just graduating and trying to get a career started

Just finished it and am torn as well. I was hoping for it to feel more finalized and “done”, but it just left too many things open. I think they did a really good job dealing with Richard’s death though.

Somewhat of a spoiler:

How did Lane and Zach end up living in Sookie’s house!??

I watched it too! Interesting thing that I noticed since I liked the Winter and Fall episodes the best- Amy wrote those episodes.  Her husband, Dan, wrote the other two.  What was up with that musical?! Also, I just felt like some of the actions the characters took were so out of character.

All in all, I’m glad I was back in Stars Hollow but I’m disappointed. :/

SPOILER ALERT—–

Lorelai made such a big deal out of Rory sleeping with Dean, but didn’t even bat an eye to Rory sleeping with an engaged Logan?  Lorelai going hiking?  It just felt so weird! And then Michel was at Lorelai’s wedding but Sookie wasn’t?  I know they only had her (Melissa McCarthy) for a day, so why not include her in that scene instead?!

Ack! Spoilers! 😉
My sister and I are watching the first two episodes together on Sunday, and then we’re saving the last two to watch with a friend … on December ELEVENTH! SO far away! All I can say is that I’ve survived this far without more Gilmore Girls, I can survive another few weeks…

… maybe …

I binged watched it, and now I want someone with whom to process it all, haha. There were parts that I loved and parts that I didn’t like. I also agree with those of you who liked Amy’s episodes best. I do love the (new) last song of the musical though. As most of you may have noticed in the credits, Daniel Palladino wrote those lyrics (and the lyrics to the rest of the musical.) I also loved several of the cameos! As for the four final words, now that I’ve heard them, they make so much sense in terms of what ASP wanted to convey with this show. I can’t believe I didn’t see that coming.

I haven’t finished the final episode, but I adore the “With a little help from my friends” scene with Logan and the boys. So great!

Cant wait to finish the episode but it’ll have to wait til tomorrow!

I watched it all yesterday, I am a HUGE GG fan…but unfortunately I can’t say I loved these episodes. Like a PP said, I felt like the characters should have been a lot further along in some of the situations they were dealing with than they were.
