We invited 50 and I think around 40 showed up. I had one big shower that involved both sides and a few friends. I guess we both have kind of large families.
There were 50 people at my shower.
Your shower invite lists depends on how many people you invite to your wedding.
The shower guests should also be invited wedding guests. Not every female guest needs to be invited though. For example, my husband is friends with the bride. When we attend her wedding it will be the second time i see her. I would not be invited to her shower too.
The next part of who gets invited is based on what your hosts can afford (or you if you are throwing your own shower).
We had 22 people. And the wedding is only 60!
It was a great turnout and a lot of fun.
We had around 50 people at my shower. But I have a VERY large family (we invited over 200 guests to our wedding) and I only wanted one shower (I know some brides have multiple smaller showers).
I had a few different showers. I grew up in FL, so my mom and sister threw me one there and there were about 20 people. FI’s family is from OH, so his mom had one there with about 20 people. And we are currently living in GA, so a couple of girlfriends insisted on a little one here. I was so surprised by all of the love and throught that our friends put in to them 🙂
I think we invited 30 (only had 85 wedding guests total) and 24 attended.
Mine had me and 12 guests. 14 were invited but two were unable to attend. But our wedding was small, with only around 35 guests, so like everyone else’s, it was proportional. We all had lots of fun; it was very “me,” as my MOH knows me SO well.
I think I had about 15 people at my shower, but would have probaby had more if I hadn’t rescheduled my shower due to the fact that I had just landed a new job. Either way, it was small, intimate, and really fun! I really enjoyed actually being able to talk to all of my guests!
I’ve had two showers so far (our families live on opposite sides of the country), and both of them had 11-15 people. Part of me is kind of jealous of the big, fancy 30-50 person showers, but at the end of the day I really loved my little homespun showers! They were both so sweet and full of love.
I think we invited 50-something and about 45 people were there.
