We picked about 90, including small detail shots. Our album is, I think 17 pages?...it's not huge. I could've found plenty more photos i loved but it's a nice short snapshot
We went with 36 pages. Some pages have only one photo but the majority have 3. There's about a total of 90 pictures in there!

The craftsmanship is amazing on it!!! We just got the whole thing yesterday and I'm so excited about it that you're making me want to go look at it again!
I haven't taken any pictures of ours, but it's BEAUTIFUL! I think originally we were supposed to pick about 80 images, but I think we finally settled on 90 or so.
DG- The Cypress album looks great! Do you mind sharing how much it costs?

Greek- I really have no idea how much it costs, as it was part of our photography package. I added about 6 pages to the normal album size and had to pay a small additional fee.
As soon as I have time, I'll photograph our book. I'm scared that I can't do it justice!
I think we probably have 90-100 photos in our album. It was nearly impossible for me to pick photos as there were over 1600 altogether and they were all so wonderful. Here's a link to mine that should work and hopefully you all can enjoy as I enjoy seeing everyone elses:). I look at it almost every day because I'm going through wedding withdrawal!!!

Our wedding album is 32 pages, an 11x14 magazine style album. We picked about 155 pictures and it looks great! There aer some pages with 1 picture, some with 4, etc - it was kinda hard to pick the pictures but once I started it was just about picking one picture out of 4 or 5 shots of the same thing.
I'm reviving this thread because I would love to hear from the more recent round of newlyweds! We are finally getting ready to do an album and I have narrowed my favorites down to 200 - and I can.not. get any lower than that no matter how hard I try! We want to do a 30 page 9.5x13 album and my photographer said to pick about 70 photos, as that would be 1-3 per page. At this point I might try to convince DH to get the 40 page (the album was not part of our package and is quite expensive) just so we can get 100 pictures, but even then I have to cut my favorites in HALF! How did you ever decide??
We received an album of 100 4x6 photos from our photographers. Because we had the rights to our pictures, I decided to make a wedding album of our own using the website picaboo.com. There are probably only 50 pictures in this album, but they are the pictures that we really really love.
@EvaBostonTerrier: That's neat that your photographer made you an album as a part of your package! My photographer designs beautiful Italian leather coffee table books, and I'd love to make that our heirloom album that our grandchildren look at, thus why I am stressing over it!
