Just out of curiosity – how many postcards do you think I’ll need to buy if I want to do the “postcard guestbook”? We will have 80 people at the wedding, most couples. From your experience, do people sign individually in the guestbook or do they do it “in couples.” What do you think?
Thank you in advance!

@polishbride: Postcards are usually pretty cheap – I think I paid 8 or 9 dollars for 50 of them at micheals…so I would do one for each just in case. You will have some left over – but it’s better then not having enough.

It depends on how much they are. I think you’ll probably only use maybe 50 but, if they’re cheap, I’d get more just in case.

@polishbride: my guy and I always sign as a couple. I’m planning my guest book the the number of couples/families attending with a few left over, if that helps.

We’re doing a post card guest book! We expect to have about 125 guests at our wedding and we’re going to put out 150 at least so people have a bit of a selection. 🙂
check Etsy, we had great success finding cool post cards on there that went with our theme.

Thanks for all your advice. This is really helpful. The only thing I was thinking about is getting really nice vintage postcards from zazzle.com and although they are not “so” expansive they run about $.75 per card, which adds up…We want to do a collage afterwards. My bill so far is at $50 which is a bit much.
