I’m doing a mass, but I’ve always seen it done with 3 readings (old/new testament and gospel reading). One I went to had a poem by ee cummings but that was in addition to the liturgy (and I’m not sure if all priests would allow that).

It’s the same as any other Catholic service- one old testament, one new testament, and a Gospel read by the priest. Once you meet with the priest, they should give you a book/guide to help you plan it out.

Also a Psalm, which can be either sung or read. But yes, it will be the same pattern of readings as a regular Mass.

Traditionally four: Old Testament, New Testament, Gospel, and a Psalm. You may read or sing the Psalm, or leave it out altogether.

We had a catholic wedding and we had 3 readings. Old Testament, New Testament and Gospel.
