@Soon2BeMrsS:  I have signs for:

  • Our bathroom baskets
  • photobooth
  • table numbers – 16
  • guest book
  • a catch-all thank you sign
  • a sign for our popcorn bar
  • 3 signs with the popcorn flavors
  • little signs for the wipes/garbage for the guest book (using ink)

Our menu’s are printed for each setting.  I think that’s it?  I also have a program sign, but it’s going to the church.

@Soon2BeMrsS:  I debated it, but we have enough to cover one table and they are directly in front of where they will be entering.  I figure 99% should know what to do.  Plus my FI told me I was going a little sign crazy 🙂

Is it difficult to find the restrooms? I was considering making signs for that since it’s some twists and turns in areas it won’t necessarily occur to guests to look.

Also, if you’re having bubbles/sparklers/etc, it might be good to have a sign saying when such items will be used. I went to a wedding recently with bubbles, and people were just taking them off the table and blowing them. I don’t think they knew to wait, and then the woman in charge of the church had to come out and get onto people because the floor was getting really slippery. It was mostly kids, but a lot of them were old enough that a sign would probably have stopped them.

I had a crapload!  I collected a bunch of cool old wood while on the job and then was like “Hmmm how many signs can I possibly think of to make?”

We had one for the guest book, favors, bubbles for the ceremony, restrooms, a large welcome/itinerary one, menu, photobooth, card box, “drinks” and “chow” for those tables, signs and an arrow for the bonfire and smores, and our names and the date and an arrow for the turnoff to the venue from the main road.  I also made one that said “loveshack” for our cabin, haha.

We also had framed thank yous, a framed shuttle schedule, and table numbers made out of paper.

Here’s a pic from when I was partyway through my sign-making frenzy –

@lolot:  I just pinned your image to Pinterest so I can use yours for inspiration. They look lovely, exactly what I wanted and they look like something you’d buy off etsy! Any tips for making them?
