_blackbird_:  We live in NYC, so we have an apartment- it’s a 475 square foot two bedroom. We’ve always lived in major cities, and we’re both kind of default minimalists so it’s plenty. I think when we buy a place we’ll shoot for around 900 square feet just to have extra entertaining space.

We live in a city rowhome. It’s about 1200 square feet, not including the basement (which is not finished).

_blackbird_:  our house is 1,234 sq ft. It was built in 1930 and I can’t ever see myself moving. I have a daughter and don’t plan on having any more children so 2 bedrooms is plenty for us.

I live in a 1 bedroom condo that is 1200 sq ft. When we buy a house one day, I would like to have one around 2500 sq feet. Anything more than that makes me want to cry when I think about cleaning it.

1100 sq ft, plus the basement, half of which is finished. It’s a fantastic house!
