Just wondering how many times everyone has applied to blog for Weddingbee? What inspires you? And of course, SHARE YOUR BLOG!! :o)
I applied for the 2nd time, and was rejected for the 2nd time. I really like all the self-reflection that blogging offers. Self Promotion: www.AZinAugust.blogspot.com
Applied 3 times, rejected 4 times. Pretty sure I'm the only one who can say that.
My blog is http://misspug.blogspot.com and I have a great giveaway that ends tomorrow night!!!!
I applied once and was rejected. >>>insert sad face here<<< I started a new blog with more detail and organization so I'm hoping to apply again soon.

Six rejections. *siiiiiigh*
Honestly, though, I think I kamikazed myself by trying too hard. Since the last rejection, I closed up shop on my weddings-only blog and went back to my old one...and I've been having a much better time.
Oh, well. I dislike rejection, but I still love blogging! http://charmypants.blogspot.com
I never applied. I just can't keep up with a blog! I do enjoy reading everyone else's though :)
@gidgett wow, I love your blog if it's any consolation!
@Blueshoes2 well someone needs to read all these blogs! :o) Thanks for all your support for our fellow board bees who are starting out/applying/being rejected/etc. :o)
I've applied 3 times. Rejected twice. Waiting to hear on my third attempt. Fingers crossed. http://futuremrshopefully.blogspot.com/
I've applied once and been rejected once. I truthfully only started my blog because I wanted to be a Weddingbee blogger so much! The community here is amazing and I wanted to contribute back. I'm happy though that I've discovered I love blogging, and that although I was disappointed to be rejected, I'm satisfied with my new passion! I'll try again next month!
I couldn't apply b/c of my job....which still makes me kinda sad :(
I havent applied. But i think its great for girls who do! I like writing my blog to keep in check of all my projects and its able to give me an overall look at whats going on with my wedding, and keep track of my DIY projects and to do lists. And all the inspiration I find and links to freebie templates and stuff. Its great to have that portal. And I like it when the girls comment, it beats FHs blank looks. www.coastalcitybride.blogspot.com
i havent applied - i do have a wedding blog - but its private for now for just my bridesmaids LOL if i decide to open it up in the next few weeks i will post it :)
@ggsb: me neither, but c'est la vie, i still can contribute in my own little way...
@msmoni: it's no big deal i'm like NUMBER ONE (YEAH MAN!!)

@ggsb/crebre80: Are people who work in the industry automatically rejected? I'm just curious since it's not explicitly stated on the Apply to Blog page, and I can think of at least two bees off the top of my head who were "vendors" before starting to blog (Cupcake and Raspberry).
I just applied for the first time today! Reading all of these posts did make me a little more pessimistic though, haha... I never realized how many people apply to become bees! Anyway, crossing my fingers, and if it doesn't work out, I'll be glad to say I tried! Good luck, girls!
I applied twice, was rejected once. Just keep on trucking, girls. :)
Third time turned out to be the charm for me. It took me awhile to find my voice.
Applied once and affraid to do it again but I just might!

No application, yet. Still unsure whether or not I'll be applying. I have until May before it hit the 8 month mark, so I guess I have plenty of time to make a decision!
I never applied. I'm so not good at keeping up with a blog.
never. i thought it would be fun during the beginning of planning... but stressful when it got closer to the wedding so i decided against trying.
Applied twice and rejected twice
It's ok though...I started blogging JUST so I could apply...but then I found that I really liked blogging so I jsut kept it up and met a lot of other blogger freinds and found a community that way :-) In additon to the hive ofcourse
I applied about a month ago and got my rejection yesterday :( I guess with the long wait I was hoping the news would be positive....I am pretty persistent though so I may give it another go in another month....I wonder does the 4 week wait start when you applied or when you were rejected?
I sometimes wish I would have, but
1.) by the time I found out about the becoming a Bee process I was already passed the 6 month mark (I only stumbled upon the site itself in Nov)
2.) I don't have a blog and have never blogged (though I have always kept a journal - but the old school pen & paper kind).
3.) some of my views on my wedding and wedding planning in general are better left unsaid (or at least not somewhere my & FIs families can read about it)
Since FI & I live in a different state from our entire family and every single one of our closest friends, I'm planning to start a blog once we're married for all of our nearest & dearest to stay up-to-date on all things US;)
I just sent in my first application today as I'm at the 8 month mark. Now the anxious waiting begins, lol
Just got my first rejection yesterday.
I'm going to try to spruce things up again and re-apply in four weeks.
If anyone has any constructive critism for me, I'd love to hear it (via PM please).

@studio.ariadne : i'm not sure, I thought that they rejected us first because it could be easy vendor promo type thing where we promote our own businesses for the sake of the hive. I also think that it could be a liability type thing for weddingbee... but i am not sure, perhaps someone who's been here longer and is smarter can answer :D
I would have loved to apply but it seems us Aussies aren't able to. It's too late for me now but I would love to see some more international brides blogging, I really enjoyed the glimpse we got of South African weddings from Mrs Lightning.
Applied twice... rejected once and waiting for a decision this time!
I never applied, I think I would be too scared to! LOL. But I started my own blog for many of the same reasons as @ccranetobe. I like being able to keep my thoughts in one place and look back on all my inspiration pics. I really enjoy reading other people's blogs too! Here's mine if you are interested:
I cant wait until Im eligable to apply.. someday I hope lol! My current one http://the-ren.blogspot.com/
I started a blog when I first found this site, not sure if I'll have the guts to apply when the time rolls around...
I guess that it was the first time for me...but I did wait to apply. At the 8 month mark I hesitated, and decided to wait it out until I had a clear and cohesive inspiration for my wedding, as well as some projects started. I'm not sure if that would help everyone necessarily...but I think that probably helped me. At the 8 month mark I still was trying to calm all of the wedding inspiration crazies that were dancing around in my head....and by the 5 month mark I really knew what I wanted to do.
