They say three time’s a charm right? Well lets hope so!
Just so we can accomodate our chosen venue, FI’s sporting ‘commitments’ (watching Bathurst and AFL grand final), and photographer, we have now changed our original wedding date for the third time! LOL!
Just for fun, how many times have you changed your wedding througout your planning?

None. I picked May 31st because FH has a hard time remembering dates, so I decided I was sticking to it if my life depended on it.

We changed a lot, the first date we picked was our anniversary but everyone said that getting married on a Thursday was a bad idea, then we bounced around twice in a desparate search for a venue that was accommodate such a small wedding. In the end we ended back with our original Thursday date, yeah! In February we actually get to finalize all the plans so I biting my nails until then!

Once or twice so far. Right now we don’t have a date. We were looking at July 2015 originally, but since then my health has caused some issues, pushing my studies and moving out of home back, which then pushes the wedding back. So right now no clue when it’s going to happen! This is going to be one LONG engagement!

Once or twice. We originally wanted it in December and changed it to April, but I cant remember if the date changed any more than that.

@wifey2be: Thanks, yeah definitely have been doing a lot of planning! Know the bridal party, the colour scheme, the theme, the photographer, the ceremony location, etc etc. All it comes down to now is booking and buying things!

In all honesty, 3 times! We were going to get married on the 2nd of May 2015, but my fiance ended up buying his first house and I graduated so we brought the date forward to the 13th of September 2014. We were engaged in October 2013 and booked our wedding ASAP, then early December our reception venue rang to say they double booked us!
We got our deposit back and looked elsewhere. We fell in love with a golf club only ten minutes from our church so we booked it but since they were fully booked in September we changed to the 30th of August 2014. Everything is booked pretty much apart from the wedding cake and hairdressers, and we are not changing our date a fourth time 😛 but I am honestly excited that we are getting married even sooner than planned.

We’ve stuck to the original date and fingers crossed it stays that way.

We only did once. From November 1, 2014 to October 4, 2014. Mostly because we wanted pictures with the leaves still on them and in November they will have probably fallen off. I think it’s actually better since I love the “look” of the date October 4, 2014.

We talked vaguely about a lot of dates, but once we picked one we stuck with it. It was on our two year anniversary.
I’m glad we didn’t put it off until later as things were very unpredictable the next summer (the other times we were looking at) and I would have hated moving the wedding once things were booked.

We never changed the date.

We changed ours once. Venues, on the other hand, 4 times. We had booked out date originallu for NRL grand final weekend last year (2013), paid a depost, then found out that our venue had accidentally double booked us, and seeing as how we were the second booming for that date, we got bumped. They didn’t have anything else available that suited us until this year, so we figured we would change venues. The people we dealt with at the new venue were less than professional, so we cancelled and chose another place. Then it was announced that there would be a major event in our city that night, and major road closures would occur. At that point we were only 5 months away from our date and everywhere was booked so we ended up saying “screw it”, changing dates AND venues again.

The date has not changed, but the year has. We’ve been trying to plan the wedding for 2 years now, however I had some serious health issues that needed to be tended to and it pushed our date back. August 16th is our anniversary and I refuse to change it and have multiple anniversaries to try to celebrate LOL
