So I’ve tried my best to resist taking out my dress for fear of damaging it before the big day- but it’s such a mood booster to put it on! Since I’ve brought mine home back in the end of March I’ve probably put it on at least once a month. (Well, I shimmy into it the best I can without any help. It’s a tricky bugger.)
Here’s me playing dress up today. I wanted to check and see if the earrings I bought today were perfect and if I could sit down in it (I hadn’t tried that yet).
The Earrings I bought today!
Sitting- a success!
Falling in love with the back of my gown all over again!
The complete look
Loving my curves!
Mood officially brightened! Can I be a bride every day??

I’ve only tried mine on twice. I bought it back in April. It’s still at the shop waiting for alterations but if i had it at home I would probably be trying it on once a week. lol
Love your dress! it looks great on you! I haven’t done the sit down test on mine yet!!! definitely a must! lol

I go and say “hello” to my dress when I go around to my mum’s but I have only tried it on 3 times total. Once for mum when it come in to check it fit. Once for the Future Mother-In-Law and then a few weeks ago I did a “dress rehearsal” with the longline bra, my veil, shoes and jewellery etc. I won’t wear it now for another 27 days…

My dress isn’t here yet, but I definitely agree with OP – Can I be a bride everyday? 🙂

I do at least once a week! It’s so easy to get into. As soon as I find the shoes I want I will get it hemmed. I want to remove the sweep train.

My dress came in in April and I haven’t been tempted yet. I’m too nervous that I’ll get cat hair on it or something. I’m sure I will at some point though.
Ps. We’re dress twins!

- Wedding: March 2012 - Pelican Grand Beach Resort
I never, ever, ever took my dress out at home. Not once. The most I did was open the top few inches of the bag to look at it, and I never touched it, especially not with bare hands. I spent way too much on my dress to risk damaging it just to play dress up alone at home. I took pictures in the sample when I ordered it and in my dress when I picked it up and then I waited until my fittings to take more pictures. I brought all my accessories to my fittings and chose between them then.
