How many tissue balls?

I have to decorate a 22 x 41 foot room, and I have no idea how many tissue balls/poms to purchase.

I'd like to put them all over the ceiling at varying heights, and I don't want it to look too sparse.

Any experience or suggestions would be awesome.

I would sugggest.. 2 every square metre... as an estimate. Doesnt mean that you have to put them every square metre tho.

Im doing crepe paper flowers and they are hanging with lanterns. And i figured i would need 15 lanterns. But then again I havent put them up! and I dont know what your overall look is.

A tough one!

Thanks! Yeah, I ordered 30 just to be safe because I seem to see a lot of sparse tissue ball photos on google. I'll have to come back and post if it was too many.

I wanted a pretty good smattering to distract the eye from the drop ceiling...you know those office ones. Anyway, if it turns out to be too little, then I'll just cluster them over the cake and tables.
