1 per person. I've been to 4 weddings in the past 5 weeks and at every single one, my FI and I each took a program.
I was just reading about this on another website. Most people said that they printed enough for 50-75% of their guests and still had a few leftovers. I think that I will probably follow the 75% guideline.
I would thing one per couple would be fine - maybe then add a few extras just to be sure you're fine. I think the 75% guideline sounds great!
I read somewhere - can't remember where - to print 2/3 of the number of your total guests. This makes sense because many couples will just take one but there will be some people who take one each. I have heard that one per person is just way too many.
One per couple. You should order as many programs as you did invitations.
I think somewhere between 65-75% of the adult guests. I don't think too many guys are all that interested in programs. We went to 8+ weddings this year and only took 1 program as a couple, except for a few where the ushers made sure each person took one.

Getting ready to place my order for our wedding programs and am not sure how many to order. Some people have said 1 per person, while others have told me 1 per couple. Suggestions, thoughts?? We are on a tight budget, so the idea of only doing 1 per couple is tempting...but I don't want to look stingy.....
