I remember some years where it felt like we we are at a weekend every weekend!
This year we will go to 3 weddings - with one being our own!
How many weddings will you be attending this year?
Counting mine, just two. Mine was in April and my best friends was the very next day. Hopefully we will get to go to another wedding come 2010.
four. I've been to one already... two are definite "no's" for travel reasons and the last is still up in the air!
Aha! The virtues of waiting a loooong time to get married! Most of our friends are married and the only wedding we will be going to this year is our own. Happy days. :)
two besides ours. It's actually kind of a litght wedding year. And the numbers of single folks are dwindling. Though in our BP only our sisters are married...so I think that means there may be a few in the near or far future.
We already have attended two...and we have two more...they fall in the same month too. It makes for busy and hungover weekends!! ;)
Besides our wedding we are going to 4 more by the end of October and buying gifts for 5 (one we can't go to)
For 2009:
My best friend got married in February (1), my brother got married in May (2), FI's friend got married last weekend (3) and he has other colleagues who are getting married but we don't know if we're invited so it may just be 3...
For 2010:
Ours and I don't know who else's we'll be invited to but we know other couples who are getting married too...
The only weddings I had to attend this year was my best friend's in April and of course mine =).
I only have one other besides mine this year which is way better than the 4 I had last year.
3, perhaps 4. Not sure on 2010, but at least 1 (ours)!!
Been to 2 already this year and have 2 more to go. Next year I'll have 2 (one being my own!), and possibly one more - they haven't set a date yet but I'm assuming it will be next year at some point.

Invited to 6 in 2009 (7 including our own...) but only going to 4 (three are on the same day!).
Already have 3 on the calendar for next Feb, too!

Zero! =) I've only ever been to two weddings in my life -- my second cousin's, when I was little, and my fiance's cousin's, this past summer. And I don't really see anymore in my future, other than my own (in 2012).

Three weddings including our own. My best friend got married in February and we have a wedding to go to tomorrow. But we normally don't have many weddings to go to--a lot of my friends are single. I have one definite next year--my mom is getting married in the Bahamas!
3 - with one being my own!!! I had 1 cousin get married in May and I have another cousin getting married next weekend!
7 INCLUDING OUR OWN, I'll be in another. Last year was crazy too- something like 8 or 9 weddings between me and my fiance- YIKES
Um, we went to one in May, then our own, then two more...then some of his friends'....I think that's 5 Yes's for us. I'm a BM in two. He's a GM in two.
Let's see, I have gone to two already and there are three more I think (all three girls got engaged after me and their weddings are before mine, oh well).
Ours was my first for this year, and it looks like we'll be able to attend 4 out of the 5 coming up for the rest of the year.
This feels like the year of weddings for us!
We attended one, had our own, have 3 more in the next 3 months, plus a destination we said no to, but will probably go to the second reception. Phew,I've never had more than 1 in a year.
Counting mine? One. 
Then again, I'm 55, which is not exactly prime wedding age. And in one other instance, we will be going to someone's wedding reception, even though not the wedding itself.
Just ours. It's a bizzare coincidence that my previous marriages (two) ended within 3 months of going to a wedding. I'm a littler superstitious, but I'm not taking any chances right now.
We went to one last weekend and then just ours in October. That's it!
