How much are you (or did you) investing in your appearance on your wedding day?

@smv22114:  Really just getting my hair done. Makeup and nails I did myself, and I get my eyebrows threaded regularly anyway. I’m a makeup junkie so to pay someone else to use their makeup on me would have been idiotic.

Professional hair and makeup. I’ll get a no chip manicure on my nails, regular manicure on my toes. Brazilian wax. Eyebrow threading. That’s about it.

I put a lot of time and care into my skin, nails and hair on everyday basis..including facials, peelings, hair treatments, mani and pedi, high quality skin care etc…so before the wedding I am not going to do anything  unusual…just nails, hair and make up..but my nails are always done…and my hair is always high-lighted and freshly done…i wear make-up every I don’t think people will see much

Also, I work out and eat healthy all the time..I don’t need to change anything before the wedding..

I was thinking about getting some botox..but then I thought that my face is still young and there is nothing that light  photo-shop can’t fix (lol)..besides..even kids have wrinkles around their eyes and on their foreheads when they smile or make silly what?

Prior to the wedding weekend I:

-Got laser hair removal

-Tanned (maybe 3 times before?)

-I already had a gym membership but I certainly used that more once I was engaged.

The wedding week:

-Hair cut/colored

-Eyebrow threading

Day of:

Hair Stylist/Makeup artist to do hair and makeup (for me and my bridesmaids)

I’m getting a mani/pedi (my first!) and that’s it. I will be doing my own hair and makeup. I want to look like myself on my wedding day, I’m not a fan of wearing overly dramatic makeup so I don’t want to pay someone for something I can do myself. And I don’t even like hairdressers to cut my hair (I do it myself), styling is out of the question. And I will just keep up my regular brow plucking and skin care regime. I’m just very low maintenance and have no desire to change that on my wedding day.

I got a mani, pedi, make up (eye lashes included), hair and that was it.  Looking back, I wish I had gotten a spray tan because I looked too pale on my pictures.

– hair & makeup professionally done

– tanning a few months prior, because i have a farmers tan that’s super uneven at the moment

– possible eyelash extensions

And i’m going to need to work on this on my own, but stop biting my nails. My nails are HORRIBLE because I’m a biter!
