ours is like $93 pp for everything but taking away s’mores buffet, open bar, toast, centerpieces, chair covers, etc. I think it ends up around $55 per person with tax and service fees.

$7800 for food (apps and buffet with 3 choices plus two salads and a side dish) and $2400 for open bar (beer, wine, and soda only)

Our food is like 130 pp, not including raw bar and booze. We are only hosting 40 people though. So, that much pp isn’t that crazy if you are offering quality food.

I would say that is definately on the expensive side. We are doing hor deruves only so it is roughly $1500 for 60 people, meaning they will keep bringing food out as long as people are eating it so could be more or less, with a cap of $2000. If we wanted a sit down dinner it would be $50/person at our venue.

And I thought ours was high!  We’re paying about $25pp for a 5 course sit down dinner. With approximately 150 guests, that’s around $4000.

gg620:  I’m getting married in Philly, too! If it’s any consolation, that’s not unreasonable for the area. Philly is an expensive place to get married! I don’t know our price breakdown because it already includes alcohol, etc.

If you’re a foodie in Philly, I’m dying to know about your menu! I’m sure it’s delicious!! What are you serving?

Hmmm let me figure this out.

$135 per head at a winter discount for 5 choices of apps, 1 choice of 3 meals, and premium open bar.   I guess $90 per head just for entree for 45 guests?

I believe ours is $64 for food with around 100 guests, so $6400 not including taxes

crackktheskyy:  it’s crazy the price differences! I’m over on the other side of the state and we are having a traditional hotel ballroom reception with a cocktail hour, sit down dinner, premium open bar, etc and the most I have seen around here is about $120!
