I have been doing research for scheduling hair and makeup and have been getting some crazy prices. How much did you/ are you going to pay for hair and makeup (including a trial, not including bridal party)?
For me I think it's going to be about $100 for both hair and make up which I am stoked about...I don't know what's normal but I *feel* like I'm getting a deal...the girl doing my hair I've known for about 10 years!
I think that for my trial and actual hairstyle/makeup I'll be spending around $200? My spreadsheet is at home, so I can't tell you exactly what it is 
Makeup I'm getting the airbrushing which is about $70... and am doing the rest by myself.
Hair is $150 for trial + day of. But I'm also getting it dyed and trimmed a week before soooo that tacks on another $70...
I think my make up & hair, including the trials was $245, but I booked with last year's prices. (I got a free make up trial, but hair & makeup $180 and the hair trial was $65). Now, I think the place I'm using is $290 ($100 for hair, $100 for make up, $25 for make up trial, and $65 for hair trial).
My makeup is $50 for the trial and $260 for day-of package including my mom, SIL and 3 attendants. Hair, I don't know. A friend is doing it, and we haven't discussed money yet.
Mine is about 80 for hair and makeup w/o tip. I think it's 45 for hair, and 35 for makeup? Something like that. If I want them to do my nails, it's another 20.
My make up is a completely ridiculous $225. Luckily, the person doing my hair is a good friend from college who is doing it for a very small amount of money.

I am paying $165 for makeup but that includes airbrush, eyelashes, trial and day of. She is also coming to my salon for the day of. I fugured $200 isn't too horrible.
My FSIL is a hairdresser and will do my hair for free. She'll do my makeup too.
I just scheduled mine today. It's $245 for day of make-up(airbrush and false lashes) and hair and a trial run.
I am paying $180 for a trial makeup/hair + wedding day makeup/hair. Never paid this much for my beauty before, haha, so I hope it's worth it!
I'm paying $85 for make up $100 for hair. The price is steep. And its even more expensive because they're coming to the venue to do it. But, I'd rather they do it than me!

Damn! So I guess that's just how much it costs? I was hoping that I had just been contacting places that were pricier.
I have been getting mostly quotes around $75 for hair and $50 for makeup with trial prices about the same. And who knew you had to pay extra for false eyelashes? I can't even find anyone who will do airbrushing for less than $200.
This is the first time I have had sticker shock this bad in the wedding process. :(
I'm paying $262 for myself and that includes false lashes. Including myself and 3 others and travel fee it's about $518 total. That's the cheapest I found so far in LA.
I work at a salon and spa, so my hair will be free, and I am doing my own make-up (I'm esthetician, so I've taken many make-up artistry courses). Normally we charge about $60-70 for hair and $45 for make-up. $45 for hair trial and $25 for make-up trial.

$40 each for trials
That includes airbrush makeup, fake lashes and veil placement.
My hair and makeup was $75 each for me, so $150 total and my trial was free.
I'm being quoted about $100 - $150 for makeup... Is this normal for Northern California? Seems high, but I have no clue!
Oh and both places are $75 additional for a trial.
It's $75 for the bridesmaids (I'm paying for their hair $50), and $200 for my hair/makeup (including trial). We're in Nashville, TN.
Make up for me is $200 (including tattoo coverup with product cost). That included the trial and travel fees. BM's makeup is $50.
Hair trial was $40 for the first, $20 for the second (since I wasn't happy with the first), and $40 day of.
Bride's hair - $70
Bridesmaids - $60
Make-up (someone coming into my home)- $20 each
Not including tipping for either of course...
Seems like a lot of people are getting false eyelashes for the day of? For those who are...have you ever worn them before? I didn't even think about wearing them, but am tempted. I worry that they will bother me if I wear them for the first time on my wedding day. What are your tips regarding them?
Gonne read up with the comments on @mrsmcleantobe her question, I am curious as well! And can you wear fake lashes with contacts??
I decided to pay hair and make-up for everyone in the wedding party plus both moms. Because the wedding is on a Sunday the prices were doubled for all services.
Here goes:
Bride: Trial: 160 (hair and make-up) Day-of: 310 (hair and make-up)
Bridesmaids: Day of: 260 (hair and make-up)
Mom's: Day of: $200

I'm paying $175 for hair and makeup done by the same person, including airbrushing and false eyelashes if I want them. The trial (for both H & M) is an additional $100 :/ I hope she's good!
Hmmm...my hair and makeup trial is $90 and my day of hair and makeup is $110. Yikes...that's $200 for hair and makeup alone, not counting the manicure and pedicure I plan on getting :-/
I was in a wedding last year. The rates were $50 for hair and $45 for makeup. The wedding was at a fabulous Jacksoville mansion.
Why do the rates seem so much higher today, specifically for the Charleston area. I know that its a historic city, but sheesh!

My hair will be $80 and my makeup will be $25 - my hair would be free if I had 10 girls total but we only have 9! I am a little bummed about that actually!!
My hair and makeup trial and day off were 420$ total. It was a lot but I don't regret it a minute. They came to my suite in the morning (hair dresser and makeup artist) and did my mom, MIL and myself. Total for the 3 of us was 750$ including falsies for the 3 of us. If you have the opportunity to have the people come to you it is the best. I was really relaxed the morning off and not having the stress of going outside of the hotel was the best decision for me.
$330 for the wedding day make up (on location) and $110 for trial.
I used to think this was CRAZY expensive but someone actually quoted me $600 for the day-of hair and make up alone. Too much!
My hair and makeup trial are the same cost as the day of. My hair is $125 and my makeup is $70.
I'm paying retarded pricing because one of my criteria for choosing a MUA was that she was able to cover up my forearm tattoo. Hair and makeup (includes airbrushing, falsies, etc) are $180 each. $75 for tattoo cover.
I don't know exactly what it comes out to individually, but I am paying about $475 for hair and makeup for myself and three bridesmaids.
