$800 for day of/unlimited emails/rehersal - I'm getting married in Fullerton! They're normally $1000 but I hired them during a promotion.
Full time planner- $3,500
DJ plus lights and GOBO (and a few extras)- $2,100
As I mentioned in your other post it isn't necessarily about the best price. If they aren't true professionals (the DJ or his wife) I would opt to spend a bit more for someone that has the connections and experience.
Our day of coordinator charged $500 plus $100 extra for an assitant (optional). DJ service with dance floor lighting and slideshow setup (all inclusive package) was about $1,000. I think we got a pretty good deal overall, considering that these were pros with years of experience in SoCal.
We're getting quotes from $1,000 - $2,500. The majority fall in the $1500 range.
You have to contact or look up One Darling Day!! Claudia is amaaaazinnng!! and sooo helpful!! and veryy affordable!! She is my Day-of Coordinator! and I feel sooo lucky to have found her!! She has been sooo helpful and has gone above and beyond to make me feel at ease and has helped me throught this stressful process!!! I cant say enough great things about her! Let her know her 2/25/12 bride referred you, I want her to know how happy I am to have her!!
And for DJ, I have Dj Marcel, from FirstChoiceDJs.... He is amazzinnng! A Must as well!! I think if you hire these 2 vendors, itll be less than what your looking to pay now.. and DJ Marcel has years of experience and many great reviews! Best of Luck to you!! Hope this helps!!
We loved our Day Of coordinator, Candice Acosta. She was around $300 or $350 and worked her BUTT off. I can't find what I did with her website, but her email is monogramsbycandie@yahoo.com
We teamed her with Ryan at http://djtempoe.com/home.html He was around $500. He was just starting out and I don't know if he's raised his prices, but he was amazing! He has tons of reviews on Yelp.com
@Dub D: We are doing a "day of plus" coordinator (so more like a month of coordinator) since we live in San Francisco but are getting married in LA. We get two coordinators on the day of our wedding to do all the day-of stuff, but our coordinator is also taking care of our event timeline and helping with things like seating charts. Rehearsal and unlimited vendor assistance is also included. We are paying $1200 for everything coordination related.

Thanks ladies! We reserved the DJ/coordinator couple and they have been great so far. We really love them and they are so nice. Its costing us about $2500 for DJ for the whole wedding and coordinator to take over 3 months before TOTAL. We rationed it our and think we got a good deal seeing as how everything else in California is so pricy anyways :).
My Cordinator is 10% of my total budget and gave me a discount for using them for other services they offer. I think their day of prices are pretty low, my friend only paid about $40 an hour for them and it was flawless. www.amazingarrangements.com
Our D.O.C. was $350 plus an additional $35 since our venue is a little bit of a drive for her. She will be creating our timeline for us, contacting all vendors before the wedding to verify arrival times, helping with seating charts, and doing all set up and take down, running errands, etc. on the day of, with the help of one assistant.

We are thinking of going with a DJ that has a packaged deal for him and his wife who is a coordinator. It would make our DJ about $1250 and the coordinator to take our planning so far and plan it from here on out for $1600. We have 8 months 15 days until our wedding. I'm not sure that it's the best deal, but I want to see what others are paying for either "month of" or having someone plan from about this far out. That is if you bees don't mind sharing this info ;op. Thanks bees!!! Btw, our wedding is in Long Beach, CA.
