Mine was $45 but I was planning on initially spending like $200. I think it's worth it to spend the extra $$ to have something beautifully made because it's a keepsake you'll have for the rest of your life.
Here's mine. I looove it.
$ 38 :)
The frame is removable so you can place it back diagonally. For us, it makes sense because we met online and all we had to go by was a picture.
This topper is called "picture perfect"
Our was $20 (not an option in your poll)... it's the Chinese symbol for "double happiness."

i wanted one like this... but only found it online and im not too sure about the website... :( so im still on a hunt for it. online its $50 plus shipping..
Ours was $54.50. Originally, I really wanted an Ann Woods sweathearts birds topper, but I couldn't bring myself to spend $200+ on a cake topper. I really love the one we ended up with though:

I have no intentions of keeping my cake topper, so I'm buying a "C" monogram at Michaels - with a 40% coupon it's about $7. (:
I am getting flowers for the top of my squared cake and I am adding a monnogram cake "topper" on the second tier of the cake. All together it's about $30.
No cake topper for me.. I bought ribbon to go around the cake and have a brooch (13.00 AUD dolalrs)on the ribbon. thats just the cake were cutting. Ther rest are cupcakes so no cake topper needed!
My Fh is making ours. It has been halfway done for a few months. He is a metal worker and it is two intertwined hearts. Looking forward to seeing it.
Ours was a traditional Welsh love spoon. It was $29.72, including the shipping from Wales.
ours will be sugared fruit: and is less than $25, so its not on your poll....
I'm making my own clay people that look like us in our wedding clothes. I haven't made it yet, but my trial run took about 4 hours to make. I didn't bake that one though, so I guess add in however long the craft clay from Michaels takes in the oven...
We are spluring on the cake topper, and doing one similar to this from magicmud. We aren't splurging on much, and I'm going to have to get cheaper invites to justify this, but I LOVE IT. We'll display it on a shelf with our wedding pictures when everything is said and and done.
I think ours was around $30. We fell in love with it and that was that!
We ordered a lego bride and groom off of ebay and are putting them on a plane made out of legos (FI is a pilot). We're also going to have our lego selves hold our rings for a picture.

We got this one while vacationing in Las Vegas! It was about $40, and was actually our very first wedding purchase!!! I am not sure if it is going to match our "tree themed" cake!
Ours was $100, it was made of real flowers and it was pretty big I am attaching a very blurry non professional photo that doesn't really do it justice..
Mine will be DIY. I bought the monograms online for like $3 a piece. I will add my own rhinestones to them for a grand total of about $20.
We are doing a cake like this but our bow is going to be out of ribbon so about $5 for the roll of ribbon!

I'm having my made by a seller on Etsy. I got several bids, but I'm going to accept the offer of an artist who did exactly what I wanted, This is the sketch she submitted. The cost is $50.

Mine will be similar to nmsoonerbride since it will be made to look like us. But it came out to less than $50, as I'm getting it done in Brazil, by this woman my mom knows. My mom thought she charged too cheap (only $30) and even said she was going to throw an extra $20 for it. It'll be the two of us and our cat, plus me holding the Brazilian flag, the FI holding the American flag.
This is the one I bought and I've since painted the hair of the bride to match mine and the tie & vest to match my fiance's. This way they will look very similar to us.

I want a cutesy cake topper, and so I'm leaning toward ordering one from Etsy. It's about $140, which is more than what I had anticipated on spending. I'm curious to know how much people's cake toppers are running or are you going to DIY? Thanks
