I'm looking at rings for FI (we are picking out and surprising each other on our wedding day). I'm in shock at how much some of these rings he likes costs! How much did your FI's wedding band cost? Do you have a picture?
His is just a plain white gold band. I think it was somewhere between $300-$400.
Ditto on sticker shock! I was hoping we could find something nice from the local Costco for like $300! His is white gold, 6mm, and it was $1,100. I tried to upload a pic, but it was ginormous. sorry!

4mm white gold, just under $200. He lost it two months later. I bought him a $25 silver replacement lol
We spent $750 on his band.. He was very picky when we were shopping lol.. but its ok, I LOVE HIS BAND!
I'm not sure on the width of his, but we got it him a 14K white gold and I think it was $425. I was surprised because I thought he'd want titanium or some other metal, so I was thinking we'd spend $100 at the most, but he ended up wanting gold.
DH didn't want anything flashy and requested something inexpensive. He said he didn't want a gold band because he didn't want it to get scratched up. I ordered this 6mm titanium ring online for $39.
My fiance's ring is titanium or tungten carbide, is a pewter color and is so unbelievably comfortable! I could not stand to see him in a shiny white gold ring, my set is white gold. He looked "gay" for a lack of a better word. We only paid 89 bucks, where as mine was 700.
his was about $500 and he wore it for about a total of 15mins so melted it down into something else
Knowning how much he spent on my ring, I planned on him picking a white gold band that would cost about $600. Then we walk into the jewerly store and this is what he picks:
6mm Tungsten for $100! Never would have guessed...but hey, I'm not complaining.
FH's was 40 and then 60 for engraving (beveled tungsten with carbon inlay). He initially wanted a custom band with sapphires but that was going to run around 5-700 so I scoured Amazon until I found a ring with some flash without killing our budget.
It was like this but with a beveled pattern along the edges
FI likes the diamonds in the band. He has to have square cut or else I could have cut the cost down by a few hundred. His is $1200 from Helzberg. It's really nice, I just hope he wears it! I couldn't complain because he spent a lot on me!
FI and i are getting matching bands...his will be 6mm wide (size 8) and mine will be 4mm (size 5), 14K white gold. the jeweler quoted $605 for his wedding band and $415 for mine.
His ring cost $350 from Shubach's, but he won't let me put up any pictures of it yet. Silly FI :) But its a very nice ring, that, unfortunatly cannot ever be resized, but with the extra warranty I bought if he loses weight or gains weight or has to have the ring cut off or if it is damaged at all will be replaced FREE OF CHARGE!
We haven't settled on wedding bands yet, but the one my FI has tentatively chosen is plain platinum, 4.5mm wide and is about $1600.
Edit: A side note, my FI was really hesitant about even wearing a ring at first, so if this is what he wants I'm more than willing to spend the money. I want him to have something he likes and that he'll actually wear!
My husband's band was around $300-350 (I can't remember exactly) and then they gave us 15% off.
His ring was almost exactly $700

We actually just picked up his band today :) It's tungsten with ceramic and was about $375.
$2700 white gold, 1Kt. diamonds. I would have bought something half that price but he did not settle!
He picked out his own ring but I told him I'd buy him whichever he wanted since he spend $4K on my 2 rings I told him price wasn't an issue I'd just have a yard sale... He picked this one for just over $200
His ring was 25 with shipping and 55 with his engraving (ring purchased from Amazon the engraving was done at Kay's) :-D Its titanium, he picked it out himself and loves it...I dont think he has even taken it off sense we got married! Its just a slender 4mm band!
I believe it was about $500...maybe a little more. White gold from Ben Bridge.
I just brought his ring two weeks ago from Kay's it was 1200 half a carat.
I was ready to order my FI's chosen ring in platinum, but the jeweler mentioned palladium being less expensive and he said he wanted that instead. I guess there's a bargain hunter in him after all. We spent $800 on his.
FI's ring cost £150 (not sure how much that is in dollars, maybe $225?). It's a court shaped, 9k yellow gold, 5mm wide plain band.
DHs ring is white gold, it was about $250 - we bought it in Jamaica on our honeymoon
6mm, 19 k white gold came in at $800, i can't remember the size.
oh, and if he loses it, i'll kill him!
We couldn't believe it, the ring he picked out was $130.
It's stainless steel,and has gold through the middle of it. Very simple, but perfect for his job too. It can't be resized, but that isn't the end of the world because it was so cheap!
It looks a bit like this one, but picture gold in the middle "ring" and it may have some detail in the edging too...
