I’d like to know this too so I’m following your post.  Hopefully someone has some info!

If we get a certain amount of rooms at a nearby hotel, they will provide a shuttle for free to and from the venue. That’s just us, though you may want to look into local hotels offering that same coutesy to their guests.

In my experience, people usually drive to the church themselves, then either drive to the reception, or back to the hotel where a shuttle takes them to the reception.

we got ours for free with our hotel if we got 20 rooms.  luckily we ended up with 21.  though ours was just hotel to the venue and then back at the end of the night b/c our ceremony and reception were in the same place

We looked at getting a school bus, since one of our venues didn’t have easy parking.  We were quoted $500 for 7 hours of service, and the bus would hold 45 people.

Sometimes hotels offer shuttles back and forth to venues if you have enough people staying at the hotel. Ask there. Wish I could help but my mother plannedon picking up the shuttle cost as a gift.

i paid $700 for pick up at 6pm and take everybody back at 11pm

i could have used them in the middle but of course i didn’t have any use–everybody was at the wedding

it was a HUGE chunk of my budget, but totally worth it

Our venue was a bed and breakfast and since there wasn’t ample parking for our guests, we had them park across the street (& up a hill) at an auxiliary lot of a local hotel (where some guests were staying also) and had them shuttled to the wedding by a SCHOOLBUS! it was $300 for a split trip plan… 2:00-4:00pm and 8:00-10:00pm. Our guests loved it and some said that since it had been so long since they had ridden a schoolbus it was exciting to be able to again 🙂

We rented an enterprise 15 passanger van, and hired one of BILs friends drive from the hotel to the venue… that way he was able to keep going back and getting guest that didnt wanna come to the cermeony… I think after tax for the 24 hours was like $150

We looked at school buses. They told me $200/bus for a round trip anywhere in the city, at any time (before the ceremony and then after the ceremony was ok with that gap). The bus seats 44 if I remember right.
