My florist created mine for about $175. It included peonies, roses, orchids, and callas with an ivory wrap.
Did you guys buy them from a florist? or did you do them yourself?
Well I made mine... and if you include all of the supplies and flowers it was around $45-$55
Mine is going to be $125 for a handtied bouquet of roses, dahlias, tulips, maybe runuculas with wire encasing with crystals on the wire, and a silver wire throat. (I copied and pasted the description from my florist's spreadsheet in case the details are helpful)!
Mine was around $180-190 I think--it was handtied roses, hydrangea, rananculus, freesia, and some other flowers I don't remember, with a ribbon wound around the stems.
I had a bouquet of seven ivory roses and it cost $35, if I recall correctly. I didn't want a big bouquet.
I'm using a florist, Peonies, hydrangea, orchids - 160
I appreciate this doesn't help you, but mine cost nothing!!! the decorator who supplied the flowers (and did all the decoration) for the wedding made my bouquet for free.
(having said that, we did pay him a not so small fortune, so it was the least he could do!)
Thanks guys for all the tips. Your helping me get a better Ideas thanks!
I think mine will be around $120 for a bouquet of white sweet peas.
Forgot to add--I went through a grocery store florist, which slashed the price even more.
Mine was hand tied with ribbon, roses, calla lilies, dahlias, orchids and tiger lilies, and cost $55.

Mine is about $150 and it's peonies, hydrangea, and rananculus. My inspiration is below!

I bought my bouquet at Bunches Direct (www.bunchesdirect.com)
It was beautiful and only cost $29.99, which is so much cheaper than anything else I had seen around.
@Carrie1984: I'm thinking of ordering from them. You were happy with the quality? they look beautiful in your pic.
I was quoted $125 for a hand-tied bouquet of white roses, purple statis, purple orchids, white hydrangeas, and some other stuff I can't remember. That will also include some beading/ribbon. Oh, and they are giving me a free "toss" bouquet...I think a lot of florists include that too.
$100, I believe. It's black magic roses and karma chocolate dahlias.

I was quoted by a couple florists between $150-$250 for a bridal bouquet. We ended up using a local flower shop chain and went with their Rose Package for our personal flowers (we're doing the centerpieces ourselves) and my 2 dozen red rose ribbon wrapped bouquet was free with the package!
Mine was quoted at being around $150. It's going to be made with English roses and Dahlias in varying shades of pink and pops of red. I am using a wedding/event florist that has her own business, not a chain store or florist shop.
Good luck with your venture! We were quoted $125 for dd's bouquet of fresh orange roses and pearl-filled stephanotis. She has since changed her mind and her FI is buying her bouquet from aNeMonE paper flowers (one of her bm's works there and we hope he gets a good price...they are expensive and very worth it). Here is their link for drooling: http://www.handmadepaperflowers.com/home.html
@ddubzz: I absolutely LOVE your bouquet. Beautiful colors!!! What flowers did you use?
Mine was org. around 165ish, but the florist I'm using was offering a 50% off promotion when we booked our wedding...so we're spending roughly 700 on flowers for the wedding and reception.
mine was $160 i believe.
black calla lillies, purple carnations, purple lisianthis, thistle, these mini rose things, green hypericum berries and peacock feathers.
Mine is silk and adding 12 crystals in it, and it costs $48.00

for pete's sake, why are they so expensive? two dozen perfect roses from the florist don't cost anywhere NEAR $150!
is it really just b/c it is for a *wedding* ?
are florists really so evil that they know they can mark it up so much for a WEDDING?!
:-(
