I lucked out with my makeup artist. She’s a friend of a friend and it’s a hobby business right now – she’s hoping to make it a fulltime job. She is $50 per face, including false eyelashes.

Oh and I didn’t want my makeup to be more than $200, so I really lucked out!

@FutureMrsSarah:  My trial was an extra $25, but that’s nothing to complain over … And she’s fantastic, so I’m hoping to drum up more business for her!

Hm… my lady did hair AND make up… and she charged $900 for the bride, four bridesmaids and the flower girl.

In my area, the prices were around $200 for the bride and $100 for each bridesmaid…each MUA varied by whether this included a trial or not.  A friend ended up doing my makeup though.

DH said “You have $250 for beauty stuff. Have fun.”

So I paid $100 for waxing (and a $25 tip) and hair+make-up came as a package for $100 (plus $25 tip).

So my make-up was like $62.50 after tip!
