my fi wants a very simple titanium ring. it's going to cost me between $40-60. i almost feel bad about it! something like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/62127962/titanium-ring-stone-finish-wedding-band
We ended up being lucky with DH's band. He picked a seranite ring from Benchmark that was originally around $300 (I think), but we ended up paying about $150 when we combined it with my band purchase. It has a lifetime warranty on it too. The tungsten and titanium versions were only a little bit more, but he liked the color of the seranite better.

My husband wanted a tungsten band....it's a 10mm and I paid a whopping $50 for it up in LA...laser engraving was $45. We went to downtown LA and found the one he wanted, one guy told me $300, another guy told me $175 the we found this girl in the very back of one of the buildings who sold only tungsten...$50. SOLD!
He wanted the thickest one possible and wanted the simple white gold band. I think it was 14k gold. It ended up right around $500.
My husband's band is palladium, and a custom fingerprint band from Fabuluster on ETSY. I'm not sure how much his alone cost (I got an 18k gold band from them, and it was one price for both). It was $1700 for both, so probably around $800-ish?
Here is a breakdown on the type of rings he could have with price
Tungsten - the most durable, UNABLE TO RESIZE due to durable of a metal it is. This will be your cheapest ring
Titanium - more of a classy metal, not as durable, but you are able to resize it up and down one size for weight fluctuation through your life - these can be anywhere from 100 - 500
Platinum - the most expensive, very high quality ring -these will get you in the 1000s.
What you spend is up to you. My engagement ring was 1000, I will probably spend a few hundred and get a titanum ring for my fiance; however, we have a very low budget and not that high of income as we are in school. It will really depend on what fits him the best :)
$43!
DH wasn't really interested in a ring and didn't plan on wearing it, so we didn't want to spend a lot. We got this ring from Etsy seller Titanium Knights. DH wore his ring for the two weeks of our honeymoon, but it drove him crazy the entire time, so he hasn't worn it since then. He says he doesn't mind wearing it when we go out to nice meals/events though :)

I got his off of Amazon and paid a whole $10 for it! It's a simple, stainless steal band which is what he had been looking into getting.
We spent about $700 on his yellow gold band. I think it's around 4 or 5mm wide.

We got a tungsten band that was about $70 and had a Celtic design polished into it. I was willing to spend more, but he liked it. And the perk of that is that he doesn't wear jewelry ever and will probably lose his ring 3-5 times over the course of our marriage...and I won't be nearly as pissed about replacing an inexpensive band.
Here's his, with mine. It's platinum, retail price around $1300, I paid about half that.

We started out super simple - I thought he wanted simple. Simple turned into a platinum band with scroll work in the middle (that matches my rings). To the tune of $$$$. I didn't even get platinum ;) Mine are white gold
We bought his at Bloomingdales and they were having a 50% off sale plus an additional 25% for like a Labor Day Sale so it is 16K white gold and we paid $400. At first my FI wanted to buy a cheaper ring but I told him I think we should get one that he really likes and he has really small fingers for a guy, size 8 1/2, so it was really hard to find something.
I pay $500 for his ring. But since my dad is going to make it... the price is a lot lower than retail price....We checked the retail price is around $1800
18k white gold + diamond.
My husband thought he wanted a plain ring, nothing fancy. We looked at so many rings for him. He was much harder to please than I was!!! I wanted him to have diamonds. He didn't think he wanted diamonds. But when a salesperson made the statement that he deserved diamonds too, all the sudden his face lit up and I could tell he was sold on getting diamonds.
We ended up with a simple white gold band with 9 round channel set diamonds. He says it's one diamond for every position on a baseball diamond. LOL! We spent a little more than I had budgeted, but it was so worth it!
I believe that my husband's ring was around $100 and it's titanium. I'm not sure exactly though because we bought my platinum band with point diamonds at the same time. I felt bad, actually, spending so little on his...but he got exactly what he wanted and is really proud to show it off. :)
...I feel a little off writing this because no one else has posted this yet...my ring alone was $8,700
@adibeese: Who told you that Titanium could be resized? I used to work for a jewelry store, and we couldn't size it. I could be wrong. I would double check if I were you, but I'm pretty sure I'm right. I would hate for you to buy something thinking it can be resized and then find out that it really can't be when you need it resized.
We got a band that doesn't match mine, but has the same vintage/elegant "feel" to it. 18K white gold, about 5mm wide, brushed gold except with 2 polished gold stripes on either edge. We got it for $800 and he loves it a lot. We're both excited to wear them...less than a year now!
$60 on ebay, he found one he loved.
I believe it was titanium. I don't have a pic cuz he put it in our safety deposit box for safe keeping. But we were both impressed when it came in!
We found FI's for $375 online at http://www.e-weddingbands.com/
They were the cheapest website that had the most choice. FI was really picky about what he wanted in a ring, and I thought that I was going to have to buy an $800 custom made ring, but we found it there instead.
I actually bought both our wedding bands from overstock.com. We hit up Jared to get sized and figure out what kind of style we wanted. I don't know what other kind of selection they have on the site, because we opted for very simple plain 14k gold bands (his a bit wider than mine), and I paid just under $250 for both of them.
I made DH's. It is sterling silver with an Alexandrite. He loves it. Cost me next to nothing :)
My DH has short fingers so he wanted a 4mm ring.. which is pretty thin and therefore less expensive. He picked out a style and we found one at a local jeweler for $275. It was so cheap i kept asking him if he wanted to change his mind lol but he liked it!

I'm just beginning my search for FI's wedding band and I'm just curious to see what other Bees have spent. My FI is a simple man so he doesn't want anything too fancy (whew, lucky for me!). :)
Post pictures if you have them, too! And prices if you're comfortable.
Thanks Bees!
