I was supposed to spend $50 on each but I ended up at around $80 per person. 6BM and 7 GM.  Girls- individual picks of jewelry and a pair of sunglasses. Boys- socks, tie, pocket square and sunglasses.

Swebs14:  I’ll probably end up spending around $75 on each – we haven’t decided on grooms gifts yet but probably similar.. maybe between $50-$75. But I truly think it’s the thought that counts, a nice personal gift of any kind (even if it’s a lovely framed picture) will be truly appreciated.

It all adds up so quickly and i’m sure they wouldn’t want you stressed about spending money you don’t have! Add a personal thank you note and it’ll be perfect 🙂

We spent $100 on each GM and $220 on the BMs. My BMs have paid a lot over the past year and I felt like anything less than 100 was too little. Their dresses + alterations was like in the 300 range (which was not anticipated, as they selected their own dresses but somehow ended up all getting the same dress). Plus they paid for an entire destination weekend bachelorette party, got shower gifts and also helped with throwing my shower. Easily they each spent over a grand.

With that said, you have to stick within your budget. Do what you can. I did base what I got them off of what they spent. My GMs got less because they did and spent a lot less. I still feel what I spent on my BMs was not enough. I think that it is normal to give more.

I was on a serious budget but I spent about $100-$200 on all the gifts for the bridal party and the parents.  my wedding was almost 2 years ago and I don’t want to go dig out my wedding binder for exact numbers.  But I did get the ladies their jewelry (earrings and bracelets).  I also bought the material to make their dresses (they paid for the dress but it was less than $30).  I got the material to make the guys vests too but they paid for their vests to be made and that was $10 for each.  I did gift the guys their ties though.  And I bought the gm’s matchin socks.  I think that was it.

We spent around $75 on each, but we also paid for all attire/shoes/jewelry/hair/makeup so our attendants had no expenses other than their time.

It was around $100 for my two gals. This included earrings, a necklace, a bag (one got Coach, the other Better Life Bags), small things that I put in the bags, and a tervis tumbler-type drinking cup with their first name initial on it.

I wish I would have just paid for their hair, but I failed at that one. So, if I could go back a couple weeks – I would do that too. I think I would have, had MIL not been with us to. My mom didn’t want her hair done but MIL did, so then I would have felt weird paying for the girls’ hair and not hers. But, it was pretty cheap compared to other places and they did a great job. Our nails costed more!
