I dont wear white shoes ever, or really dress up for anything, so I wasn’t going to spend a lot.  My target was under $100, and I scored Nina Electras, regularly $90, for only $30.  They’ve sat in the shoe box since, so I’m glad they were cheap.

MrsSpagan:  $102. I will never wear them again, I knew that when I bought them. I don’t do heels. I’ll be lucky to keep them on long enough to finish the ceremony (well, obviously I won’t kick them off in the middle of the ceremony, but you KWIM).

Like most things to do with weddings I just chalk it up to something with a one-time use stamp on it.

MrsSpagan:  I knew that I was never going to wear white or cream-coloured shoes again, so I bought my wedding shoes with the goal of re-wearing them afterwards. It was my biggest spurlge for the wedding (and in my life, to be honest). I bought Kate Spade “Charm” in Navy Blue. They were $328 (Canadian), but then I ended up getting a 20% off coupon mailed to me after I bought them, so after the tax and price adjustment, they came in at just under $300

I spent $150 on my shoes. I bought Werner Kern ballroom dance shoes in white satin, and they were amazing. Well worth the money (and time!) spent finding them and purchasing them.  I put them on at 1pm and didn’t take them off until 11pm, and never had a minute of “shoe pain” the whole day/night long.  In fact, once they were on, I didn’t give them a second thought.  I was up & down stairs, on rocky beaches, grass, wood floors, etc and they were wonderful.   They were also very bridal looking, which is what I wanted, in addition to the whole “super comfortable” thing.

I bought lower heels (either 1.5 or 2 inch) that are a robin’s egg teal. They’re pumps, and I’ll definitely wear them again. It’s more likely that I’ll have to prevent myself from wearing them out before the wedding. They were $25, normally $65.

These are my shoes. I REALLY didn’t want any variation of white and my colors are black, gold and peach. My bridesmaids are wearing the only gold shoe that I could find that I liked and that was reasonably priced. It is so difficult to find peach shoes to match my exact shade and I didn’t want to spend tons of money ordering shoes and sending them back, so I opted for black. Any time I wear heels, they’re usually black and my current ones are a bit old, so I figured I’d wear black for the wedding and then they would become my current black heel. Plus, they have darling red hearts on the bottom that pretty much sold me on them. They also come in a light pink, red and an aqua for those of you looking. I paid $100 for them on Amazon.
