He got a 6mm white gold comfort band, very simple.  Originally it was $700, but my old ring that I got from that same jewler was deducted room the price (valued at $350).

So we spent $350 on a $700 ring.

my husband’s ring was free with the purchase of my rings, but i didn’t think it was fair that my husband got stuck with a bill and i didn’t, so i still contributed to the cost of the rings. it was a little over $400.

He wanted tungsten carbide. The ring he chose was about $100.

I figure it will be in the 100-200 range. We are looking this weekend.

edit: he really likes the look of tungsten, and since he cant wear his ring when he is working he wont wear it often, so it wont be too extravegant

I keep pushing him to get white  gold but he is insisting on tungsten, which doesn’t seem as expensive.  I don’t imagine spending over $350 for his ring, though I was willing to spend $800-$1,000.

We spent about $1500 on Tacori style #1136 in white gold.  Since my fiance has abnormally small hands, we got a couple hundred bucks off since they use less metal.  😉

Definitely coming back to this later. FI found a few rings he liked for cheap, but mine cost quite a bit, so I don’t want to feel like I am cheaping out.

I had a $100 off Blue Nile deal, so in the end I paid $290 for a 5mm white gold ring:

About $220 (tax included) for a black tungsten ring from Zales.

He isn’t totally decided on one yet, but the one he’ll probably end up with is $120. The problem is that he wants a thin ring (NOT width, but actual thickness, like 1mm), and no one (not even on Etsy) will make one that thin. The frontrunner is from Just Titanium, and they’ll make a 1.5mm one.
