I am DIYing because using a florist just wasn’t in our $5000 wedding budget.  We budgeted $100 for flowers and I think we will end up going a little bit over when I include shipping for the Sam’s roses I am ordering and DIY supplies from Joann’s.  I am making 10 centerpieces, my bouquet, and three maid bouquets.

@linnylou_88:  I got married last Friday, and DIY’d my flowers. Spent $470, could have dropped that to $400 as I had tons left over. I made 11 centrepieces, one altarpiece, my bouquet, 2 maids bouquets, and about 12 bouts/corsages.

Our total wedding spend was approximately $16,000

We will be spending abour $1k on flowers…$800 for 13 centerpieces and the last $200 is split between bouquets/corsages/boutonnieres.  I was thinking about doing DIY centerpieces, but in the end i decided it was just going to be too hard and I wouldn’t save that much money for what I wanted and that we would just spend a little extra to have it done by professionals.

our wedding budget was 7-10 thousand (we ended up spending 10,000). corsages, boutonnieries, and centerpiece flowers were from costco. i don’t remember the exact cost, but it was under $700 (i wanna say $670). bouquets were from a local florist. we paid about $250 (or maybe less) for my bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, a flower girl pomander, and a toss bouquet. so all together we spent around $900

$320 flower budget (2 altar arrangements, 1 bridal, 1 toss, 2 BMs, 2 nosegays, aisle bouquets and petals for the tables).  I DIY’d my flowers and it was super easy.  My total wedding cost was $12k for all 3 hosted events (welcome dinner, wedding, thank you brunch).

2% of our budget went to flowers.

(We had planned on about 4-5%, but floral just wasn’t my priority.  Plus, it helped that our ceremony was in a site that naturally had tons of blooms, and our reception site was surrounded by flower and berry gardens anyway.)

We spent 5K on the whole wedding, and about $150 on flowers!

I made all the bouquets/corsages/buttonieres/centerpieces (all floral) for $150 in flowers and $100 in materials (we had 2′ tall glass vases)

Our wedding is costing us a total of about $25,000 and we are spending $2,600 on flowers. That includes my bouquet, 2 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 flower girl, 3 corsages, 6 bouts, 6 hanging isle vases, 2 pedestal pieces for ceremony and reception, 4 tall centerpieces, 6 short centerpieces, 4 vases for cocktail tables and the arrangement for our sweetheart table.

We are definitely paying more then I originally budgeted and part of the expense is that I included peonies, lots of roses, and ranunculas.

The bouquets, wooden flower centrepieces, and the flowers for the church all came to about 3% of our budget.

Our wedding budget is about $14,000 and our flowers are about $1,200 which covers everything from bouquets to alter arrangements and centrepieces.

My current quote is sitting at about $950 inc. tax for…

Bride’s bouquet ($140)

5 bridesmaids bouquets ($40 each)

11 Bouts (groom, 8 groomsmen, 2 dads, 1 grandpa) ($17 each)

4 corsages ($29 each)

5 centerpieces (I’ll be reusing my bridesmaids bouquets on the tables) ($35 each)

Wedding budget is around $27,000, but we have a spendy venue ($22,500 for venue/catering/alcohol) and we’re doing the rest on a very limited budget.
