My videographer is $1,500. I haven’t booked a photographer yet, I’m scared to look at prices :

@weddingbee098:  videog was 2500 i believe and photog wass 3k. IT is pricey, but I met a lady who told me that the best thing I could do was have a videographer because we were going to be so busy on the day of that we would miss so much. I have a feeling I wont regret it! 😉

Good luck!

My videographer was $8800 US, but we hired the best one alive and flew him out from new york to cancun mexico.  It was a lot but I had my heart set on this videographer <3

I’m more on a budget.  Our photographer was 2300, and we didn’t hire a videographer.  I can’t picture ever watching a wedding video and the church already owns a nice camera, so we will film the ceremony just for documentation I guess.

Around $13K for both. Each for at least 10 hrs. My videography was the more expensive one.

We are spending 2k for 8 hours and 2 photographers.

Photography was important to us, but not SO important that we were willing to drop TONS of money, 2k is still alot of us.

@weddingbee098:  We’re not having a videographer.

Our photography is costing $4k which includes the following:

Pre-wedding shoot with images on a disc

Signing frame

2 photographers on the day with unlimited coverage (we’ll probably have about 13 hours coverage)

All the images from the day edited and on a disc (we’ve been told to expect at least 1000)

1 small album

2 hand-bag sized albums

We want a big coffee table album eventually, but they cost $1600 so we’ll get that at a later date; maybe for our 1st anniversary.

@weddingbee098:

No videography. A friend of ours video’d our wedding and is cutting/editing it for us into DVD. (We’ve been married four months and still don’t have it, but it was free so oh well!)

Photography:

$2000 in the midwest

included:

Engagement session and around 200 photos on CD with copyright release

12 hours of coverage on the wedding day

Second shooter for all 12 hours

Online gallery of images (I think we got around 800 original frames? I never counted.

Copyright release of all photos to print at our leisure

The reason she was such a steal was because when we booked her (about 13-14 months before our wedding) she was fairly new to the photography business (had just graduated from college and had been ‘on the scene’ in our region for a couple of years doing weddings, family shoots, senior portraits, etc.) She is just naturally very gifted and we loved her work. We also LOVED her personality. We got lucky, her prices after we booked her shot up and now that same package costs $3000.

No videographer. Spending about $4500 on a photographer. That price includes 2 photographers for 9 hours, an album, engagement session, all image files and printing rights.

@weddingbee098:  $4100  – we got 2 photographers/1 videographer. We didn’t want to spend more than $5K on that. we got a lot included in our package!

Photographer w cd 5 hours over 1000 pics was $2k. Videographer was $500 for 4 hours of unedited footage. Would have been $1500 more for edited footage so we opted against it
