I am about to book my transportation – and I want to make sure it is reasonable what we are doing.
First- we are booking a mini-bus for 23 ppl for transportation for the bridal party. We will arrive at our photography location separetly, then all ride to the venue together. They quoted us $376 for this (3 hour minimum). This goes home once we arrive at our venue (ceremony/reception are at the same place).
Second- we are getting a “motor coach” that can fit 40 people. This will be our “shuttle” and hopefully can get everyone to our venue in one swoop from the hotel! They require us to book it for two hours before & two hours after the ceremony. We really only need it for 30 minutes beforehand, but we will be having an after party at the venue so people can go to that and still have transportation back to the hotel. The quote for this is $630.
So total price is – $1,006. Does this seem reasonable? How much did you spend?

That seems pretty reasonable, I just booked us a motor coach for 5 hours and it was $750

That definitely sounds reasonable.
We have a mini bus for bridal party as well- 2 trips since girls and guys are going separately. Then we also have a 33 passenger shuttle for our guests from hotel-vennue-hotel. They will make 2 trips at the beginning and at the end of the night. Our total is $1,398 with gratuity included.

Add a poll. Seems high but maybe because its the east coast

Nothing 🙂 We weren’t going to book a limo, but then my bridesmaid and cousin gifted it as their wedding present (and told me the day before). I had bought her cupcakes when helping her finalize details for her wedding, so she returned the unexpected favor.

what company are you using? Is it a mini bus or a party bus?
I quoted with various companies in NJ & PA and every wanted about $1100-1200 for a party limo bus for only 4 hours.

we don’t need transportation since our ceremony and reception are at the same place 🙂 i’d ask people around where to you live for what they paid

@senglish0410: mine are at the same place as well but we need a ride from my house, where I am getting ready, and to and from where we want to do photos.

We booked a shuttle bus service for 4 hours before the ceremony (2 buses) and 2.5 hours at the end of the night and pricing was similar. I remember thinking when we booked it how expensive it was, but it was totally worth it on the day!
