Out of curiousity, how much did you spend on your bridesmaids gifts? What did you get them?

I'm looking at spending about $100 on each girl (I have 1 MOH and 2 bridesmaids). They will be getting chocolate brown cashmere cardigans and a gift card to their favorite stores.

ETA: I voted $91-$100 but it will more likely be a little more than $100.

Girls got gift certificates (different for each girl, depending on what was going on in her life), pearl sets (not for the wedding, although they ganged up on me and decided to wear them anyway, haha), day of "survival" bags.

Guys got leather weekender bags filled with PBR.

I think we spent just over $100.  I paid for part of their dresses, shoes (flats in case they wanted to change into something more comfortable), PJs for our slumber party the night before and a pretty picture frame each.

I bought each girl pearl earrings and matching necklace, flip flops for the reception, and a wristlet with their initals monogrammed on it. My MOH got two seasons of Will and Grace (she loves that show) and one of my BMs also got a DVD. I wanted to get those two something extra because they did so much. Obviously I gave them their "bonus gifts" seperately. I think I spent around $60 on each girl...about $80 on my MOH and one BM.

I made mine personalized purses/bags for the wedding day.  So far that cost me about $20 for all of them (gotta love Joann's coupons and gift certificates!).  Next I plan to fill the purses with all sorts of essential wedding-day goodies, like nail polish, mints, floss, makeup remover, and snacks.

I also really want to get them each something non-wedding-related and super special for each girl.  I'm thinking about framed photos of me with each girl during a particularly fun time.  Then of course I will make them all a card and write a very thoughtful note inside.

My MOH's will get a little something extra, too (one of them is already getting a bracelet I made).

I don't expect to spend more than $20 on each girl.

@Miss Seersucker: I had four: Swavorski earrings-$75, necklace-$25, peacock picture frame-$15, individual item (tea chest, bingo bank, tapas book, cross-$20. Each girl got a different one for each personality).

For the readers they got the picture frame and sometime else-blanking?

For the flowergirl we bought her outfit and gave her a stuffed animal and another little outfit.

We also paid for their hair and makeup the day of the wedding.

I think I spent around $70 each but I wasn't closely keeping track to exactly how much I spent so it might have been a little bit more.

This is what I got my girls:

I think I spent a little over $150 all in?  They each got a giftcard towards their dress (JCrew) flip flops, clutches for the wedding with "survival kits" inside (gum, granola bar, shout wipe, etc.), a personalized tote from LL bean, and a (fake) pashmina.

I spent right about $30 for each (had 6 girls) I got them charm bracelets, with 5 charms that reminded me of places we visited, events or memorable times we had together. I then wrote out a card explaining what each charm meant to me. Then each girl got the same 6th charm which was a cowboy boot to remind them of my wedding in Texas.

    They loved them!

And then I picked my favorite charm for each of the girls and put them on my bouquet :)

I had plans to get them so much more but when the wedding approached we started running out of money. I bought them each a pair of earings, a clutch, and lolita shot glasses. Everything came to about $60 each girl.

My mother had already budgeted paying for all of the girls hair and makeup so we did that but it wasn't really a gift for me.

We are paying for their hair and makeup (about $125 total per girl), but I consider that a "selfish" gift. So on top of the selfish gift we are giving them pashminas I got from a market in Florence last summer (about $50/per) and a pretty necklace from Etsy (about $20/per) -- each of these things they have the option of using at the wedding but it also gives them something pretty to take away.

I spent over $100 on each girl.  I bought their J. Crew dresses and also gave them each a different silver necklace from Tiffany's.  I had planned on putting together survival kits with flip flops, lip gloss, etc. but left it to the last minute and ended up running out of time.

I'm getting my bridesmaids charm bracelets from Swarovski with a couple of charms each.  I don't expect them to wear it the day of the wedding but it is a keepsake that they will have and I will likely buy them charms for holidays and birthdays in the years to come.

I plan on paying for all my BM's to get their hair done and I also bought them a clutch which they could use at the wedding. I plan to get my sister (MOH) a gift certificate to her hair salon just because she did a little extra!

I have been scoring deals for the past couple of months, making sure to keep on top of coupons too.  So far I have gotten them each a pashmina, jewelry they can wear to the wedding (earrings, necklace, bracelet), then I'm making them their own special necklace that will be of something special to them.

Now I'm debating about getting them like a body spray/perfume, lotion or something like that.  I might throw in a gift card or another small gift.  I have been going back and forth about buying them a bag of some sort to put it all in.  I found these cute little bags that I really want to get them but I'm not sure how they feel about pink ribbon stuff (I'm big on it because I lost my grandmother to breast cancer).

Right now I've spent about $15 per girl but I figure in the end it will be around $25 per girl, it could hit $30.  My goal is to keep it under $40 per girl.
