@MissBethany5:  after taxes (13%) just under $900.  I imagine i have another $300 in alterations.  It’s from Db, white by Vera Wang (and if it goes on sale I might cry – I ordered and it came in in 10 days instead of the 22 weeks they told me)

Mine was $899. – without alterations. Seems like I will just need it hemmed though so hopefully not too much more!

Okay, so I will be the outlier here. I expect to spend around $5,000 (including alterations). Less would be great but I doubt it is going to happen. I am not willing to use Etsy or somewhere in China to make my dress – too much risk for me.

I got my Mori Lee for $516 after taxes. It’ll probably another $300 or so for alterations (hopefully less).

$650 pre-owned, very close fit with a bustle.  Retails for ~$2400 and I would have needed a hem, etc.

    $80!  How awesome.  Pic?  🙂

I spent $1110.  Eep.  I didn’t want to spend more than around $800 or $900, but I put my dress on and it was all over (the sales woman brought it to me even after I specified $1000 was my absolute limit…the dress was $1234 and they gave me 10% off).  It was about $1200 with sales tax, and I’m budgeting $300 for alterations, and hoping it will be more like $150/$200.

I’m going to DIY my veil or wear my sister’s; I tried on a gorgeous veil at the dress shop, but I’m totally not paying $350 for a bit of tulle and lace!  Even if it is Alencon…
