I am not talking about the veil. If you got a tiara or hair comb, how much did you spend? I am just shocked by the prices! We ended up spending about $75 on my haircomb. But my mom rationalized it and said that it is now an heirloom. It has crystals and seed pearls in it. I love it. But how much did y'all spend on hair combs and tiaras or other hair adormnents?

I have a hair accessory (yet to blog about it) that cost ~ $50.  But I can definitely see using it after the wedding for fun!

I had purchased a Tiara for about $100 but I JUST found a beautiful, vintage-looking taira at The Icing for $14 and I took the other one back and got store credit to help pay for the flower girl dresses!!

Got mine free! I wore my mom's veil, sooo special!

edit: oops, just saw you're not talking about a veil. My veil was held in by bobby pins from the hair dresser, free. Also put four flowers in, can't really quantify that cost, maybe $.20?

I'm using a couple of crystal pins, which were actually from my mom's wedding, so no expensive hair pieces here. :)

Mine was about $70, from Hair Comes the Bride.  But yes, I'm planning on keeping it for my daughter if she wants it - it's a beautiful piece.

About $63.00 on Etsy. It's a hair vine with pearls and crystals from Handwired on Etsy.

I made mine for around $5 and honestly it didn't take too much time. If you don't have time to make it then buy one on Etsy but def. don't spend more than $50.

I paid $99.00.  I bought it when I tried on my wedding dress, so I guess the sales lady got me at an opportune moment.

I had little pearl flower twists in my hair, so it only cost me about $10 - I got them on ebay.

I got a hair flower from Muscari Designs for $38. It's gorgeous, and I don't have a veil, so the price was pretty reasonable.

I bought mine from Aurora collections on Etsy. It was $80 but is sooo gorgeous in real life and worth every penny! When you find something you absolutley love, I say go with it! I changed my veil twice cos I wasn't happy with it. I didn't want to settle on a cheaper head piece that I wasn't happy with.

    Here it is:

I got mine for $100 from the store.  I still have yet to get the dress.  LOL  Mom got me the Tiara.  I am still debating on even getting a veil or not.

I got a flower hair clip on Etsy for less than $20. It's a gardenia! It looks like a real flower, until you touch it of course!

My mom made mine for $12 based on one I saw on Etsy for $135!! If you have the time and patience, I seriously recommend making it yourself :)

EDIT: Mine is on an antique jeweled haircomb that my great aunt left to me, so that would have upped the price a bit if I had bought it, my bad!

My hair piece was *ack* over $400. Do I still cringe every time I say the price? YES. Would I pay it all over again plus some? ABSOLUTELY.

My flower hair piece was without a doubt, my favorite thing I wore during the wedding.

My hair piece was $99! A bit much in my opinion but I bought it on a whim. I like how someone referred to it as a family heirloom now. I guess I'll think of mine in that way too! :o)
