How much did you spend on your wedding shoes? Do you regret it? I found this Dolce & Gabbanas that I love but they are $600. It is either cool to splurge and have these great shoes for my wedding day that i will be obsessed with or it is crazy and insane to spend $600 on shoes for one day. I do think I would wear them again.

Of all the things to splurge on at a wedding, I dont think shoes are the one since the only ones who really see them are you and your photographer. You take pics of them but they are buried under the long dress and you dont see them.
In addition, it they end up hurting after 4 hours they come off anyways.
For most shoes you can find similar shoes for less than the designer label. Keep looking.
$20 at Marshall's! They were exactly what I was looking for, and I'm thankful they were such a steal. :)
I was around 90. They looked cute in pictures, and were massively uncomfortable, and I haven't worn them since.
Mine will have been around $1000. Christian Louboutin.
So it seems that i was going off the deep end thinking about buying these shoes! Thank you guys for knocking some sense into me haha!! I really don't want shoes this high anyway....
I debated on spending a small fortune on Prada shoes for my wedding, but I decided against it. First, I already own Prada shoes that I never wear, and second, I'd rather have a nice clutch or custom bracelet or something else that, well, doesn't touch the pavement on purpose.
If you have the excess cash and really want them, I say go for it - but to be honest I wouldn't spend $600 on shoes since you can usually find similar styles for so much less.
@mrsbruff2b: Please post a pic :) How do you feel about the splurge? Do you always buy expensive shoes though or is this just special for your wedding?
I spent around $90 for my shoes - $70 for the shoes themselves and then an extra charge to dye them "ivory" instead of the white they originally came in. Overall, it's more than I thought I would spend on shoes and they aren't anything to write home about...but they're a 1.5" heel (who knew that would be so hard to find??) and are pretty comfortable, so I guess I can't complain. They're a simple sandal with some rhinestone embellishments so I'm hoping they'll be rewearable too.
I spent £244 on the shoes themselves and about £400 on crystals to make them sparkly. So WELL over $500!

I spent $75, including having them dyed Navy Blue. I got them at davids - disaster story there, for another post.
2 Pairs, about $75. Flats for reception $22, heels for ceremony & pics $50.
I would NEVER spend that much on shoes, but thats just me :) I bought a pair for $30. I knew I was not going to wear them again because I'm not a heels person I just needed them so my dress didn't need to be altered. They were still cute! From Target :)
@Missloveknot: Thank you! I love them so much! None at all. Not even slightly!
Wayyyyy under $100. Around $12, actually. I am such a cheap ass. I think they are pretty cute shoes for $12!

I technically paid nothing! I had been given gift cards for Aldo so I was derermined to get them there so I wouldn't have to spend any money. They would have been around 90 I believe!
I guess it just depends on what your budget is like...I'm spending under $20, but I put shoes way down on my priority list.
i found mine at a nine west outlet. i fell in love with them as soon as i saw them. the fuschia colour just spoke to me. they were $120 but on sale for only $35 (and they had a special where the 2nd pair was 1/2 off so i got the same ones in black too). i guess technically i can say i got them for $26.25.
Under $100 for heels for ceremony, and a pair of flats for the reception. I just can't justify paying more than that, because in general I don't spend that much on shoes.... unless we're talking about a nice pair of leather boots :)
215 euros. My dress is short in the front and my shoes will be showing - so it's worth the extra investment for me. I looked around everywhere and couldn't find something I liked (which I thought was worth the price), so finally I decided to design my own shoes at Shoes of Prey.
Mine were on sale from $325 to $195. Totally worth it because they're exactly the type of shoe I've been looking for. i was beginning to think after months and months of looking I wouldn't be able to find them!

$50 at DSW - almost exactly what I was looking for! But I think I"ll be spending some more on some reception/dancing comfy shoes!
i just bought a very simliar shoe to the picture of the DG shoes...

this shoe is under 100 vs that 600
:)
@Missloveknot: It's not my most expensive or highest heeled shoe =) I have a thing for Louboutins so it's not out of the ordinary for me.
Pigalle Plato in Nude Miniglitter and Gold Specchio Leather 140mm (5 inches approx).
I walk comfortably in 4 inch heels regularly so these are okay for me.
@mrsbruff2b: Those are gorgeous!!!! I say money well spent :-D
I paid about $120 for mine but had seen similar styles sell for $250+ so i think I got a deal by putting them together myself. The shoe itself was from david's bridal vera wang collection for $58 and the crystal shoe clips were from etsy.com for $62 with shipping. I LOVE them.

mine were $14 dollars from Target i believe. Ive worn them tons of times ever since!

$40... I think I spent a little more than I should have but they are so perfect for my dress I couldn't resist! I got them at DSW.
$30. I went for white shoes and dont normally wear white so I didnt want to spend a lot on them. I typically dont spend more than $150 on my shoes anyways, and had no intetntions of slurging for the wedding. If you normally buy high price tag shoes, and would wear them again though, I say go for it!!
$90, I think from Nordstrom:

@JustMarried51912: Beautiful! They remind me of those Caroline Herrera shoe's (drool)

About $70 for mine. White satin shoes that I added a green bow to (couldn't find the right green in shoes). I probably should have looked around a little more, but oh well. That's around what I pay for shoes anyway.
@mrsbruff2b: I love your shoes.!
This is the shoe I am thinking about getting for my wedding.
They are about $695, but I do love shoes!
