We are going to Fiji and kind of going all out so it’s going to be pretty exspensive. The airfare alone is almost $4000. We aren’t going to have a regisrty for the wedding and are hoping to get money from people to off set the cost, if not we can still afford it though. Traveling is exspensive!

We went to Hawaii for 12 days.  We spent around $4k.  We shopped around a lot for airfare, got cheap rental cars, and went to a cheaper (but still nice) hotel on one island.  We also saved on food by buying breakfast food at a grocery store to eat in our room.

We’re going to Europe for 2 weeks- Flying in and out of London and going to Berlin, Brussels and Amsterdam in between.  So far we’ve only paid for flights which were $1300 for both of us round-trip.  Our budget for the whole thing is $5000, and it’ll probably be around $4-5000 including everything.

Total was about $5000, for one week in Maui, Hawaii. We actually saved a LOT of money through Marriott though – we got the entire hotel stay covered for free with Marriott points (with the exception of the daily service charge). Airfare was about $600 each, maybe $2500 on excursions and tours, and another $1500 or so on food / drink / souvenirs.

We used Honeyfund as one of our wedding registries, but not too many people used this and preferred to go to our Target registry. But we did still get about $700 in Honeyfund contributions and close to $2000 in cash that definitely helped out!

We’re going to Colombia for 3 weeks and I think it will be about $4000-5000 total. We’ve been talking about backpacking in South America together pretty much since we first met so we thought it was a good opportunity to do a bit of it at least! We’re doing a mix of camping, a 5 day trek, and some hostel/hotel stays. It won’t be luxurious by any means, but the flight alone is about $900CAD each.

We spent $2500 to go to Mexico for a week. We got a great deal through Expedia – Adult Only, All-Inclusive, Pent house suit with private jacuzzi. It was great and super relaxing which was really important to us since my husband was starting his PhD program right after we got back.

We’re doing a 12 night cruise to some stunning islands.

We fly to Sydney (Australia) then set sail to New Caledonia & Vanuatu.

    It’s a good deal IMO. We’ll spend about 7K in total I think 🙂

We are going to Playa Maroma (Near Cancun, Mex). We are staying in over-water bungalows as well for 8 days. Total including airfare was about 7K.

The resort is amazing and is gourmet all inclusive.

We’re going on a 9 day tour of Egypt with all of the upgrades/excursion add-ons, we got a booking deal for the tour cost and I purchased our flights using miles. We’re also in the process of booking a photographer in Egypt to take some honeymoon photos of us on the trip. So far the cost (all-inclusive trip and flights) is ~$2,500 not including extra meals or souvenirs.
