@MrsRevolutionize:  They were 50 but ended up being like 60 after shipping 🙂

I searched high and low for affordable BM dresses that were long and somewhat fancy in the size range I had (4-20).

We ended up at DB of course – I had some shipped in from other stores as all my sizes weren’t available at my local store but they were very easy to work with and I was happy to get our $180 dresses for $50 including shipping costs!

~$150 each for just the dresses (I’m buying them for my girls, as well as their accessories, hair, on and on).

@MrsRevolutionize:  I had my girls choose different style dresses in the same color/length.  They are short Alfred Angelo dresses and the cost of the styles they chose varried between $145 and $160, which includes a 20% off discount I got for buying from the same place I got my dress.

I was appalled at how much bridesmaid dresses were ($200 for a SHORT dress is crazy to me.  Five years ago I was in several weddings where the LONG dresses were closer to $130).  That in mind, I decided on short dresses and went with the only designer I liked that fell in the range I was looking for and hoped for the best, lol.

The dresses I’m looking at are $149 and my mom is offering to pay for more than half.  So the girls will be paying like 1/4 of the cost.

$225. My girls limit was $300 and they picked them out.

I think $140 and with a discount ended up being $120.  They were long.

I paid around $140 for another BM dress and just paid $120+tax this weekend for a wedding I’m a BM in.

Mine are short bill levkoff dresses.  We bought them at a fancy boutique and the tag price was 220, but they offered them discounts and they paid 180- and that was including tax and tax where we bought them is the highest in the country.

If I were a bridesmaid id be willing to pay up to 200 for short and maybe a bit more for long as I understand they cost more.  Anymore is ridiculous unless the bridesmaids are all rich or the bride is helping out.

They were $125, but they were on sale for $75!
