I am trying to decide if we can afford a candy buffet.  We are already donating a huge chunk of money to ASPCA charity and will place ASPCA cards at each place setting that lets people know .

We also thought about doing a candy buffet since our wedding is one week before Halloween, just trying to decide and thought I would ask ya'll.

Also has anyone else had a 6 foot table used as their candy buffet? Just trying to figure out how many containers I would need to make it look right, I don't want a skimpy buffet look.

Are you "set" on having a candy buffet? I know they can get very expensive, depending on what you get.

Since your wedding is a week before Halloween, I'm assuming it will be cool outside with crisp air. I was at a fall wedding last year where they had a hot chocolate buffet. It was AMAZING. And most likely much cheaper. Of course, you can't really take hot chocolate home with you as a favor, but it makes for a great late night treat for your guests. You can include tiny marshmallows, mint swirl sticks, chocolate syrups, etc...

Or how bout a s'mores buffet? I've seen this too.. so much fun! I've seen them at outdoor weddings where they use an above ground campfire pit and set everything up next to it.

Sorry I can't help much with the cost of candy buffets, but just thought I'd give some other options that might be cheaper if you had your heart set on doing some sort of 'buffet.'
