we will be paying around $260 for 50 pocketfold invites w/3 inserts thru an etsy seller
Im paying way under $200 for 100 my semi diy invites..I love them so far!
I paid $30.00 for 100 invites + envelopes and rsvp cards + envelopes! It will be a DIY project, but I haven't started, so no pictures yet.
I paid $65 for 200 invites and matching return address labels from 123print.com. I love that place!
We paid $100 for 100 invitations and coordinating envelopes from a local stationery store, then we paid $80 to have them printed using thermography. So $180 total for 100 invites. The brand was WasteNot--and we loved them!
I'd be curious to see the actual per invite average cost. Under $100 is one thing for 50 invites but a lot more impressive for, say 150 of them!
That said, we did 86 invites for 93 cents per 3-piece suite (not counting the $15 paper cutter I bought which I'll use in the future and consider a sunk cost anyway). The only photo I currently have is the front side of the main invitation piece taken with my iphone. While I quality isn't the best in this photo, I'm happy with how they turned out and think they def capture our cute & playful vibe. We got them printed and the outline cut at Kinko's, then I did all the stamping, accent trimming and fastening myself=)
Since we are having our courthouse wedding first...I only paid 30.00 for our invites. They are very simple. For the big bash I'm sure they will be a little more costly
$2.50 each x 125= $312.50... each came with invitation, outer envelope, RSVP card, and RSVP envelope.
$85 for 120 DIY invites. Time consuming, but worth the savings!!
Here is another similar post:
About $500 for 150 invites, mostly diy pocketfolds with help from an etsy designer.
$630 for 125 or $5.04 per invitation (does not include postage) and we are not DIYing it at all. Etsy seller is making them
y'all go awesome deals! $65 for 200 invitations?! that's amazing.
@twalila: that is too cute! i love the little birds.
I bought the BRIDES DIY invitation kit, that includes 40 invitations & envelopes, RSVP & envelopes, CLEARANCE for $9.99!!!! Plus I got 12 exra invites for $1.99. Matching thank you cards for $3.99, and the matching envelope seals for 99 cents.... SOOOO I spent under $20.00, but I will have to buy ink to print them out!!
$20?! geez! mine are going to be around $200, and i thought that wasn't too bad. i'm feeling a little guilty now!
the BRIDES brand DIY invitation kits are at Micheal's craft store, mine were on sale but they have all different styles and colors, for about $39.99 for 40 invitations, RSVPs and envelopes for both!

i'm making my own invitations (you can view them here and give me your opinion!), and it's turning out to cost a little more than i was expecting. i still think i'm under what i would be paying to have someone make my invitations. i'm just wondering if you could share about how much you spent and how many you sent out, so i can get an idea of the average cost. this would be so, so helpful. thanks so much! :)
