I’m paying $600 for 9 hours he’s going to edit them and give me a cd so I can put them on my computer… I don’t want any hard copies cause I’m getting books made on shutterfly =)

$900 for 8 hours of coverage which includes full rights to the pictures, everything edited and returned to us on a disk. Also includes a password protected online gallery for our guests to view. We really lucked out. Finding someone who specializes in photojournalism that would work with our budget wasn’t easy but I think our photog will do a great job.

I paid $1900 for full day coverage (ended up being 12 1/2 hours), unlimited locations to take pics, and a 2nd photographer. We also received a photobook – I’m okay putting together my parents’ books, but I want mine done by someone else – or it would never get done! It also includes full rights and a CD of edited and unedited photos – we received over 1300 photos! It was fantastic.

We’re paying a lot. $4100 for 11 hours. Our photographers are one of the best in our city and their work is absolutely AMAZING! Photography was our big splurge and so we wanted to go with someone we really loved! They are an awesome hip couple too. I can’t wait to take engagement pics this summer!

We came in at $1,175 for 8 hours of coverage, a CD of edited images with printing and sharing rights, 20 page photobook album, two shooters, and a 2 hour engagement session also with a CD of edited images and full printing and sharing rights.

And I know location plays into this in a huge way. Just wanted to tack on that we got an amazing deal for our area. And our photographer costs significantly more than this now. (Good thing we locked in our contract at a lower rate!)

We paid $1400 for 2 photographers, 8+ hours of coverage, all the rights to the photos, photos hosted on a site and Hi Res CDs with all the images (some with post processing effects) – I feel like we got a really good deal.

We also paid a lot for our photog (though not as expensive as some others in the phila area) but I think we got an amazing deal at 4k. Since with that we received or will be receiving an engagement session at a location of our choice, a photo guest book with pics from e-session, 12 hours (full day) of coverages day of wedding with a second shooter, password protected gallery with selected shots, all rights to our pics, a hard drive with all of our pictures, a post wedding photo shoot, an album for us and two miniature clone albums for our parents. Obviously this was not included, but he blogged about our wedding so we were able to send our guests to his site to see other pictures from the wedding (he posted the link while we were on our honeymoon)! Most importantly, our photographer was amazing to work with and we both were so happy with him. Photography was one of our biggest priorities and we didn’t mind paying for piece of mind and excellent shots.

We are paying 800.00 and that includes 5 hours of photography, all images on a disk, 5 location engagement session, and 2 photographers on our wedding day. I’m SO happy I found my photographer. She’s amazing and has great deals.

Photographers in my area are quite expensive; at least for a good photographer.  I knew I wanted to spend more money on my photographer than anything (except food) so I was okay with spending $4K.  For that, we got two photographers, an online gallery, e-shoot, rights to all photos and a 12 hour day of shooting.

I’ve seen, in my area, what you get for paying one grand and the quality is so poor, we just purchased a lower package (no albums) and purchased more hours, that way we get the quality but at a lower price!

$2500 (WAY more than I wanted to pay). Pictures have never been particularly important to me, and I just wanted my sister to photograph the wedding, but my sisters gave me a lot of “good photographer” peer pressure.  Photography was my dad’s contribution to the wedding…if I had been paying I never would have spent as much.

Our package included an e-session and rights to the epics, 6 hours of coverage on wedding day (but they stayed for 7 because they said that they appreciated the fact that we gave them a good meal), high res CD, a photo book for us, and $350 in print credit (the package originally included 2 mini photo books for our parents, but that sort of thing wouldn’t be very important to our parents and so we asked for print credit instead).  We had two photographers for our esession and our wedding.
