We are starting to look into honeymoons for January 2012 and I was wondering how much everyone’s honeymoons cost or how much you anticipate they will cost? We are thinking Costa Rica on the Pacific side, looking for an all inclusive resort. Our travel agent quoted us price $5400 (airfare, transportation and an all inclusive resort) for a 4 1/2 star resort and $4550 for a three star.
Edit: This is for 7 days/6 nights.

We wanted to do something really relaxing and easy (we’ve both travelled a lot and didn’t feel the need to do it right after the wedding) so we are just going to Del Mar, CA and it’s going to be $4000 for five nights at a five star resort/spa. We’ll have to pay for food etc but we have no flight to pay for.

We’re doing 5 nights, 6 days in a bay view room at Portofino Bay (5 stars), in Universal Studios, Florida. We got the flight, hotel, 2 two day tickets for both theme parks, two tickets to Seaworld and insurance all for $3185.
<3 So happy 😀

We’re staying 6 nights at the Beach House Maldives in Feb. 2012. Our accommodations are gratis (a la wonderful travel points). We haven’t booked airfare yet, but it ranges between $4k-8k + $900 for a transfer (we’re obviously going to try and buy our main flight tix in the $4k range, lol). Food/drink will probably be between $1500-$2k and activities will be about $1k. So grand total comes out to approximately $7k-$12k…. yikes! I’m glad that we’ll have several extra months to save.

We are going to Bali for nearly 2 weeks, but get the hotel for nearly free (time share gift) With airfare and everything else (scuba, transportation to hotel etc) I am expecting it to be about 6,000. Maybe less because once we get there its supposed to be really cheap so depending it could be as cheap as 4,500

We’re staying 7 nights in Jamaica. Our honeymoon should cost about $3,800, all-inclusive, airfare, etc etc. We’re so excited 🙂

We’re also staying at Secrets Maroma Beach in the Mayan Riviera, 11 nights, with a swim up suite, and we’re spending $5500 Canadian… we’ll probably spend another $1000 on excursions.

We are going on a 10 day cruise through the eastern Caribbean. The cruise itself cost $1800. After factoring in excursions and other expenses, we estimate that the whole trip will come to about $3000.

My fiance is still finishing up school so our budget is tight and we’re planning to go on a bigger trip on our one year anniversary. However, we’re going to Savannah for 5 days/4 nights for about $1500 or less (hopefully less).
