I am no good at guessing prices, but I have to say that it is a beautiful ring and looks like there is a lot more diamond than there is.

Pretty ring, unfortunately diamonds in general don’t have as much resale value (even less without appropriate certification) as you might think (that’s why we bought my ring pre-owned)…I think you might be able to get up to $500..if someone really falls in love with it, otherwise I think $300 – $500 is more realistic (rough estimate from someone who has bought/sold diamonds!).

Depends on alot of things.. is it name brand? [like tiffanys?] & the quality of the diamonds.

the diamond looks a lot bigger than .23 CT! you must have tiny fingers! 😉

ETA: Just realized that there’s probably a halo around the center diamond lol! Still looks nice though! 🙂

@sweetestsin:

+1 – I am a bit confused because it looks much larger than the specs…

It is dependent on the quality of the diamond

How much the ring was purchased for or how much you could sell it for? Those will be completely different numbers. We’d also need to know the specs of the diamond — what lab graded it, color, clarity, cut, etc.

Also, it’s hard to tell from the picture — it it a quad center or one diamond in the center?

if its of average quality diamonds, and not name brand, my guess would be around $549 to purchase, it would sell for much cheaper because really, only very good quality diamonds are really worth anything.

This ring is similiar, 14k gold, 1/2 carat TW, can be purchased for $549.

Honestly, with an I3 clarity, chances are most of the value you would be getting from a resale would come from the weight in gold not the stone itself.
