@renwoman:  I bought a dress because I loved the fit. But ultimately it wasn’t very me. I lost the deposit on the first dress and bought my dream dress 🙂

When I bought it I loved it! Then I started to question it and starting thinking I should have gotten my runner-up dress. Then my actual dress came in and I loved it again. Then I got alterations done and started to doubt it again because the top wasn’t fitting right. Still kind of regret it even after the wedding. I don’t hate my pictures and I still think my wedding was perfect but I still look at my runner-up and wish I had gotten it.

So far no regret…lol but I did only put my deposit down yesterday! I’m in love with it and I love the pictures of me in it! I had a runner up and I’m sure I woke have regretted it, if I went with that one, because it didn’t fit my “vision” where my actual dress fits my vision, and looks and feels amazing!

I go back on forth on dress regret – I sort of jumped the gun on getting my dress (got it the day FI proposed), and I now wish I’d shopped around more.  My major issue with my dress is the chest area – I’m worried that it shows too much.  But then, every so often I’ll put on my dress and think “this won’t be too bad!”  Maybe once I get my alterations done I’ll feel different.  Regardless, I have a pretty dress that will work, so I’m not terribly worried.

I bought a dress online, because it was an amazing deal and brand new, but I started having doubts as soon as it arrived.

I re-sold my original dress for exactly what I paid, and ended up busing my dream dress (which was what I envisioned originally).

    Haven’t had a doubt since! 🙂

I had some doubts during the process, but ultimately was super happy with my choice.

Looking back on photos of other dresses and going through alterations brought up doubts.  But when it came down to it my dress looked awesome on the day and was totally my style.

I had dress regret because my dress was very plain and had a couple aspects I didn’t like. I fixed that buying a bunch of bling online and having my seamstress sew it on and change the neckline. Now I don’t have any doubts 🙂

Mine I guess is ‘other’ because I have had slight twinges of “Did I buy my dress too soon without looking as much as I should?” They always go away once I look at pictures of myself in the dress but still. I have almost two years until my wedding and I bought my dress in October. I haven’t seen a dress I like more than mine so far. I watched a couple SYTTD episodes a while back and it just made me feel insecure about my choice so I stopped watching them. My dress is at my moms house and I always take it out and look at it when I get a chance.

Nope. No regret. Whenever I see it I just sigh and know it was the right choice. I seriously doubt I will find a dress that fits me better, looks as good, and is overall better than the one I have now. I definitely found ‘the one’. 🙂

I had some dress regret–I went back to DB and tried on another dress that I had been lusting over, and I didn’t like it nearly as much as my dress, honestly. And on the day of the wedding, I was crazy about my dress. I picked it for a reason, ya know?

Loved it when I bought, loved it when it came in, got regret because I was afraid I bought a dress I liked when I should’ve bought one that my fiancé would love. Went back and forth for about a month until I had my first dress fitting this past week. I fell in love with again and am having some alterations done to really make me pop,… And I know my fiancé will love it. He says i’d look beautiful no matter what, but I really want him to see me and say, “WOW, that’s my wife” and smile. Now I think he will 🙂 now that I am 3 months away from the actual wdecision find myself questioning every decision … I need to sthat doing that!!
