I spent $120 for a 5 week salsa lesson for both of us, but it was a group lesson.
I'm looking at $35 for each 1/2 hour session. I think if we do more than 3 there is a special wedding deal, but I'm hoping that two will be plenty. Fingers crossed.
We did a package of 5 lessons (plus a free one) for $320 and then did about 2-3 more classes that were $60 each. It was totally worth it! We had a somewhat choregraphed dance (we learned the fox trot and special moves that we put in at certain parts) so we needed those 7-8 lessons! My grandma said her favorite part of the entire wedding, besides the ceremony itself, was our first dance!
We did a dance class.. and it was one on one with the instructor.. He charges $50 a lesson (for both of us) We thought that it was too expensive.. plus he wanted us to get a package deal and it will be 10 lessons for $500.. We cant affort to spend money like that right before the wedding.. So want to find some one a little cheaper..

For those of you taking dance classes....how much are you paying?
I know it's typical for the bride/groom to take classes but I don't think my FI is up for it. So I was thinking of getting dance lessons for my dad and I, to surprise everyone at the wedding (including mom and sister). I think it'd be fun for us to do and a good way to get some father/daughter bonding.
