I have only been engaged for 2 weeks and the wedding is a destination wedding (mexico) in April 2012, probably the 7th (I am waiting to hear if you are allowed to have a legal ceramony on the weekend in Mexico)
Bought my dress. it will take 3-4 months to get here and the salon does the alterations one or two months before the wedding, and store it for free until then.
Lets just hope I don’t get pregnant before the big day, because I will be so sad to have to give up my dress! lol
Bought my earrings …. i fell in love with them and they are perfect for my wedding. They are 2 carat (2 each ear) pear shaped halo set stud earrings. Cubic zirconias of course!
and have chosen the following:
Wedding date, location, time of day, reception location, guest list, shoes (order nest paycheque), STD styles and chinese lantern favors (thanks to TotheIsland’s kind suggestion)
How far have you month twins gotten with your planning?

Let’s see. I have:
Bought the dress. It’s in my closet. I’ve got the veil ordered too but it’s taking its time.
Decided what jewelry I’m going to wear. I got a nice pearl necklace and earings set for myself when I graduated, and they go with the dress so well!
Picked the venue, even though I have to wait until one exact calender year to reserve it.
Picked the invites and Save-The-Date Cards. Just waiting on finalization of the venue to order them. Also I want to wait a little while to decide the exact time of day.
Decided on a theme and colors.
Started collecting the containers and little details for the centerpieces and other decorations.
I’m pretty sure I know who we’re going with for catering and the cake as well, I just want to get to the point where I can say “April 28th” and not have to calm people down by explaining “…next year.”
